Air con was broken but fixed fairly promptly. Rude reception staff, tired restaurant and rooms. Needs refurbishment.

Asi nejpřijatelnější ze všech tří campu uvnitř Etoshy.
Jen s benzínkou moc nepočítejte, když už se, konečně, dočkáte obsluhy, tak se dozvíte, že stojany s benzínem nefungují.

Camp im Etosha Park mit schönen Zimmern und nettem alten Fort. Nicht modern, aber in passablem Zustand. Deutlich besser als in den anderen beiden Camps im Park. Das gastronomische Angebot taugt leider wenig, aber zumindest wird man satt.

Namutoni hat uns von den drei Hauptcamps am besten gefallen. Der Campingsplatz ist ok, wenn auch hier die Instandhaltung zu wünschen übrig lässt. Das merkt man vor allem an den Sanitäranlagen. Der Nightdrive mit Fatima war großartig und absolut empfehlenswert. Die restlichen Mitarbeiter, die wir kennenlernen „durften“, waren nicht sonderlich um uns bemüht.

Out of Okakuejo, Halili, and this camp, the facilities here are better. The camp itself is just a bit bigger than the others and nicer.

Rooms - much bigger than the other two camps. Very clean with good AC and a fridge. Lovely cordoned off outdoor area too which was nice. The restaurant also was much nicer than the other two camps. Much more spread out and didn’t feel as crowded despite it still being busy enough.

Wir waren eigentlich recht zufrieden. Grosse, schöne Zimmer. Das Personal war auch freundlich. Elefanten, Nashörner, Giraffen Springböcke am Wasserloch. Essen war nicht hervorragend aber gut.

Das Zimmer mit der herrlichen Badewanne war wunderschön. Die Gegend - herrlich. Aber: als ich an einem Haken über dem Fenster eine kleine Leine zum Aufhängen unserer Wäsche besfestigen wollte, bekam ich voll 'nen Stromschlag... was den Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption nur wenig interessierte. Hab's überlebt. Würde jederzeit hier wieder einchecken, aber definitiv keine Haken anfassen, welche in der Wand befestigt sind ! :-)

Great time with the family driving through etosha park and staying at Namutoni. Not sure about rainy season, but in August it’s pretty much impossible not to see many animals (cats always hard to see).
The resort is fairly priced for what you get. Many signs of deterioration but still an affordable place to stay.

Kein Warmwasser und das Zimmer stank die ganze Nacht nach Kloake, weil nebenan die Abwasserrohre repariert wurden. Nie wieder Namutoni.

Lodge e aree campeggio all'interno del campo Etosha
Stanze molto belle anche se migliorabili in piccoli particolari; per esempio i lavandini in bagno sono di design, ma ci sono malapena 5 cm tra il rubinetto e il lavabo che non si possono infilare le mani.
Le parti comuni devono aver avuto momenti di gloria, ci dovrebbe essere un museo e un fortino con diversi negozietti. Il fortino è molto bello e si può salire sulla torre, mentre i negozietti e il museo sono abbandonati da tempo.
Peccato ci verrebbe un pò di cura in più e sarebbe eccezionale

lodge correct au coeur d'Etosha
Belle chambre, resto ok mais rien de comparable aux lodges privés. Par contre, se retrouver au coeur du parc, à 2 km du superbe point d'eau de Klein Namutoni (celui du camps lui=même n'est pas terrible), c'est génial

Die Anlage bot offensichtlich einmal luxuriöse Zimmer an, diese sind inzwischen jedoch renovierungsbedürftig.
Der Service im Restaurant war wenig flexibel. Verzehr und Getränke im Restaurant mussten erst bezahlt werden, bevor auf der Terrasse des Restaurants weitere Getränke bestellt und dann wiederkm im Restaurant bezahlt werfen durften.
Das Fort selbst bietet keine besonderen Sehenswürdigkeiten.
WLAN muss extra bezahlt werden.

Premier camp en arrivant par l'est .Les emplacements sont plus spacieux que dans les autres camps à intérieur d'Etosha donc plutôt plus agréable .
Autour de cette zone ,de nombreux endroits à explorer près du Pan avec de nombreux animaux au fil de la piste .

Nous avons passé deux nuits en tente à Namutoni. Le camp est sympathique, et les emplacements de camping assez spacieux que pour ne pas être les uns sur les autres. Le point d'eau attire moins d'animaux qu'à Okaukuejo. Les alentours du camp permettent de voir de très nombreux animaux.

Nous avons campé dans ce camp sans réservation préalable ce qui est un plus. Le camp et les infrastructures sont vraiment vieillissantes, les sanitaires auraient bien besoin d'un coup de jeune !
Le tarif est vraiment élevé pour du camping. Nous avons eu la chance de voir des animaux au point d'eau.
En ce qui me concerne je trouve qu'Etosha n'est absolument pas à la hauteur de sa réputation.

Nous avons logé dans le camp de namutoni parce que nous vouilons rester à l'intérieur du parc, mais nous avons été déçus. Aucun animal au point d'eau à l'intérieur du parc. Par contre, aux alentours, nous avons vu beaucoup d'animaux aux points d'eau naturels ou aménagés, de même sur les pistes ou au bord. Joli spectacle. Beaucoup d'éléphants, springboks, diks diks, gnous, zèbres....
