Wir waren hier auf der Campsite. Das Campingareal ist riesig und die Plätze sehr groß. Hier kann man sich aus dem Weg gehen, wenn man möchte. Die offenen Toiletten und Duschen ohne Dach (unverändert seit 10 Jahrens sind für den Preis mal renovierungsbedürftig und wie gesagt bei Regen echt nicht zu gebrauchen. Hier sieht man gut, dass das Geld nur in die Lodge investiert wird. Schade.

Eine sehr holprige Straße führt zur White Lady Lodge. Wir waren auf dem Campingplatz, wo wir für Strom und private unüberdachte Dusche und Toilette 70 Namibische Dollar extra bezahlen mussten. Leider hat es ausgerechnet an dem Tag, an dem wir ankamen geregnet, wodurch wir direkt den Nachteil einer nicht überdachten Toilette zu spüren bekommen haben (nasses Klo + nasses Toilettenpapier…). Die Anlage an sich ist schön angelegt, die Pools sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter zum Großteil freundlich. Im namibischen Winter sollte nicht vergessen werden, dass hier regelmäßig über 40 Grad Außentemperatur erreicht werden!

Piękne miejsce na trasie, basen, dobre jedzenie miła obsługa, niestety spotkała nas tam burza piaskowa a po niej normalna deszczowa, wszystko było w piasku, a łazienki są otwarte! Przystępne cenowo

Worst experience on our Namibia trip and absolute rip off!
3800 NAD for a room w/o aircon which felt like sleeping in a motel at 30 degrees celsius and no wind circulation plus damp smell - thats what you get at White Lady Lodge. The provided water cooler made the whole situation worse, as it increased the humidity in the room, despite open windows and door.
Staying there actually took away a whole day of our trip, as neither my partner nor I were able to sleep under these conditions. The rooms are noisy - you can overhear conversations from 4 rooms further because the walls are so thin. When our neighbours arrived with their car at 09 PM - their car light lit up our whole room because of the motel-type style of the rooms.
The breakfast was fine - but because we were super tired, not enjoyable either.
Last aspect to notice, which I got to know through third parties: We went to do a walking tour to see the rock art in the mountains close by and the Namibian guide revealed that the lodge applies racist behaviour and doesnt welcome people of certain heritage.
Can not recommend!
