We decided to visit Anchors because of all the high praise.
It was an utter disappointment.
We waited more than an hour and a half for our meals (reservation for 2) just to get food which as disappointing.
I ordered a surf and turf (prawns). Firstly the prawns were cold and to told it off, two of my prawns were not properly deveined.
The steak was too salty.
The lettuce was not very crisp.
My husband ordered an Octupus ala Anchor and it was very bland with very little seasoning.
The service was not impressive. Waited very long intervals between being serviced. Also, we requested a take away of the Octupus dish as it was nearly eaten from. Paid, left the restaurant, got to the car, and realized they only gave us the cake take away and not they food. Went back for it and they said hey forgot.
Was not a very good experience.

Sehr schlechter Service, ich musste 2 mal rein gehen einmal um das Menü zu bekommen das 2 mal um zu bestellen, die Restaurantleitung war sehr unfreundlich, das Essen kam bevor die Getränke überhaupt da waren, 2 andere Tische hatten ihre Getränke schon, obwohl sie später ankamen. Kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen dieses Restaurant.
