KANAAN N/A’AN KU SÊ DESERT RETREAT

We were pleasantly surprised, when we arrived at Kanaan.
I would say the views and the location sell this lodge, but the service, the more than friendly staff and the almost family like atmosphere are what make this place really special.
We also really liked the food served here big thanks to the kitchen staff.
You really feel like you are part of Kanaan and not simply "just a guest".
We booked the Sunset-Safari and had a great time with our driver.
The only thing I would annotate ist that there are not that many animals, except for oryx and springbok, but that's due to the environment and the views and the peaceful silence here more than make up for that.

We definitely will come back to this wonderful piece of Namibia

Incredible surroundings and kind staff

SUPER DISAPPOINTING! We had to wait 30min for someone to assist getting our luggage to our tent and I had to ask twice for help since it's a downhill rocky path to the tents. I was looking forward to a nice cold beer on the deck while enjoying the view only be at room temperature. No hot water the night of our arrival or the next morning with no water pressure! When we made ready for bed, the tent window did not want to stay closed and I had to use my daughters hair band to keep it closed. The food was not great either, sorry Kanaan!! We stayed at 9 lodges during our trip through Namibia, and all of them had Solar and we had no issues. If you want to charge almost 8K a night, I would expect simple things like running hot water to be standard and working. When we checked out and I raised these issues, the receptionist wasn't bothered about our complaints and said she will send us a survey form, which we still did not get. Don't bother sending me a reply informing me you will look into this because you don't and you will not be seeing us in the near future. Maybe read through the amount of complaints here and start acting on them!! Pathetic!!! Don't waste your money on staying here.

Great farm but nothing to stop for

Endroit lunaire, c'est magnifique. Le couché de soleil y est sublime. L'expérience de la tente est superbe mais pour le prix il manque un petit quelque chose pour avoir 5 étoiles.
