We like the new looks. The rooms are good, the coffee station great, fan and AC and fridge much appreciated, all meals were very good, nice idea about a la carte menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner, breakfast buffet with fresh fruit selection great, good coffee station, BUT most of all the extraordinary staff - all of them friendly and professional. Well done!

The stay at the lodge exceeded my expectations and gave me more rest to the end year fatigue which most professions suffers from at the end of the year. The rooms were comfortable and limiting technology is something I absolutely commend the Gondwana team for. Being surrounded by the mountains and birds sounds all day long reminded me of home. The food was amazing with staff members like Linda, Rejoice, Miriam and the rest I can’t remember their names were so welcoming and always full of energy willing to connect with the clients. The game drive was amazing, the tour guide Simon really knew his nature and I learned more than I ever knew about the birds, rhinos, zebras etc. I can safely say it’s one of the most memorable game drives I had thus far.

Wir waren vor zwei Monaten für 2 Tage hier und fanden die Lodge recht hübsch. Die grosszügige, grüne Wiese mit den vielen Wildschweinen und Strassen hat uns gefallen. Auch die Lobby war recht gross und nett eingerichtet. Fahr- und Gehweg zur Lodge waren nicht sehr gepflegt. Die Idee ein Häuschen viertelweise an verschiedene Gäste zu vermieten war neu für uns, führte aber dazu, dass ständig Leute direkt durch unseren Vorplatz liefen.
Bei der Ankunft wurden wir nicht auf mögliche Aktivitäten hingewiesen und im Restaurant muss man schon fast etwas betteln um bedient zu werden.
Die Lage der Lodge ist etwa eine halbe Fahrstunde von Windhoeck. Ganz praktisch also für Ausflüge nach Windhoeck.
Summasummarum eine gute Lodge mit Luft nach oben im Bereich der Freundlichkeit und Sauberkeit der Wege in Parkplatzbereich.

Definitely check your bill precisely when checking out. Charged us double for a room and refuse to give us our money back. Absolutely unacceptable and unbelievably disappointing.
