Wir waren am Ende unseres Urlaubs in Omaanda. Das war ein echtes Highlight, welches wir nicht missen möchten. Hervorragender Service, tolles Ambiente und super freundliches Personal. Wir kommen wieder!

Upmarket lodge. Highly highly recommend!!

Luxury service, deep in the Namibian nature, close to Windhoek Airport, offering characteristic intimate lodges. Safaris included with knowledgeable guide, as well as professional SPA.

Excellent, if short one night, stay at Omaanda, Zannier. It was special from the moment we started on the sand off-road track to the hotel only to be stopped by Giraffe's in the road. We saw the hotel from a distance and it looked remote and special despite being a short drive from the airport and Windhoek. We were met at the door and welcomed to the hotel which presented a beautiful vista across the bush to the hills beyond. Lunch was a superb mezze served in a friendly and attentive manner as was dinner. Beautiful room - well appointed with amenities and toiletries clean and again a wonderful vista. Despite our one night stay we booked a fantastic evening safari jeep tour of the conservation area and sighted impala, oryx, zebra, rhino, giraffe and elephant - among others. As a conservation area its enclosed and protected for the animals. Lovely dinner again food delicious. We had such a lovely stay my wife said we should have stayed longer - I whole heartedly agree. Excellent hotel, food and service - thank you.

We found the whole experience outstanding from arrival to departure. The team was super helpful and accommodating. The email correspondence was a bit delayed but improved after I mentioned that I was not too happy.

Wunderschönes, stilvoll eingerichtetes Hotel. Die Innenarchitekten haben ganze Arbeit geleistet! Nicht nur die Zimmer, auch der gesamte Aussenbereich mit dem Infinitypool und Sicht auf das Naturreservat sind atemberaubend. Die Lage ist ziemlich weit draussen, und man braucht gute Reifen für die Schotterpiste. Enttäuscht waren wir von der Servicequalität und der Freundlichkeit des Teams. Überall in Namibia ist es einfach nur grossartig, wie man empfangen wird, der Service ist immer von grosser Herzlichkeit, Freude und Kompetenz. Im Omaanda das pure Gegenteil, nicht nur waren die Mitarbeitenden äusserst kühl und wenig freundlich (ein Lächeln gab's grad gar nicht!), sondern offenbar auch wenig motiviert für ihre Arbeit. In unserem Badezimmer fiel mehrfach Dreck von der Decke herunter - sprich Tierexkremente (wir vermuten Mäusedreck), direkt ins Lavabo und überall auf den Boden. Wir verständigten die Rezeption, welche dann jemanden schickte, der es sich anschaute und entfernte. Unangenehm schien ihnen dieser Vorfall jedoch nicht zu sein, auch hat sich kein Mensch entschuldigt. Vermutlich würden wir eher nicht mehr hingehen.

Overall a very beautiful hotel with a fabulous deck and lounge area. Comfortable beds, good food with interesting choices. The one big drawback was the position of the room. Our bedroom and to some degree the bathroom had large glass plane windows that overlooked the back of the rooms in front of us, which seemed such an unnecessary design fault when you have so much space, but worse was that a walkway to another room passed almost in front of the bedroom window (n.11), meaning the curtains had to be drawn the entire time for the sake of privacy, taking away from the view. We felt very exposed in our room and the bathroom. Perhaps some large bushes need to be planted to hide the walkway or change its direction. We would not stay in that room again. Apart from that, we were very happy with the hotel.

Das bisher schönste Hotel/Lodge, in der wir (leider nur 2 Nächte) übernachtet haben.
Es stimmte einfach alles.
Ausstattung, Style, Umgebung, Essen, Massage, usw.

Warum man nur 3 Sterne vergibt, kann nicht nachvollzogen werden. Die Lage zum Flughafen (ohne Störungen!) machen diese Lodge zu einem idealen Abschlussort.

Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen. Vielen Dank!

Heel goed. Maar wel Europese prijzen voor drank en lunch.

Other places we've been to feel more special. Another thing is the limited space of the common spaces - also in the restaurant area the tables are quite near.
