Diese komfortable Lodge steht direkt an der Kante des Fish River Canyons, das ist beeindruckend. Quartier und Verpflegung sind gut.

Ich würde empfehlen den Wagen bei der Einfahrt ab der Passtrasse zu parkieren und den Shuttle zu benützen, weil der Aufstieg zur Lodge eng und sehr steil ist. Die Aussicht ist toll. Die Unterkunft in kleinen Bungalows durchschnittlich. Die Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam.
Wir haben die Elefanten-Tour gebucht und können sie nur empfehlen.

We spent almost 3 weeks in Namibia, and the Fish River Lodge was amazing. The view you have from any place in the lodge, the drive all the way to the bottom of the canyon, the excellent fine-dining experiences, the friendliness of the staff.

Viel Platz und Privatsphäre.
Einzelne Dusche und Toilette.
Spülung ging zunächst nicht. Konnten wir aber kurzerhand reparieren.
Keine Elektrizität. Schade aber, dass es kein Licht in der Dusche gib.
Schwierig mit Stirnlampe zu duschen.
Aussichtspunkt auf dem Felsen oberhalb des Pools ist sensationell.
Leider gibt es an der Bar nicht viel Getränkeauswahl. Trotzdem super nett.
Im Vergleich zu andren Camps war es jedoch einer der teureren.
Sternenhimmel mit Milchstraße ist auch noch nennenswert
