The lodge is located in the park. My room was very comfortable with air conditioning available. Staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted me with finding an extension cord. Meals were served in the main dining area that was a short walk from the rooms. There was always a wide selection available including different types of game meat, salad and soup. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Luxuriöse Lage und Ausstattung, bestes Essen. Verbesserungspotenzial besteht jedoch beim Service: der Manager latscht durch den Frühstücksraum und sagt nicht einmal guten Morgen. Sehr unfreundlich. Kellnern muss man nachlaufen, sonst wird man nicht wahrgenommen. Preis Leistung Verhältnis stimmt somit nicht. Sehr schade.

Sossesvalley and dead valley is amazing! You must go there when you visit Namibia. We stayed with with the jeeps with roof tents at Dead valley lodge. The only way to see the sunset or sunrise is the camp inside the park cause the gate closes at night. Thanks to the very very good service of Shikongo Elias we had an amazing stay so thank you very much!!! Best regards from the Dutchies

Great food, accommodation, and atmosphere
朝日を見るにはゲートを2つ通らなければなりません。このロッジは１つ目のゲート(開門時間は日の出の時刻)の先にあるので2つ目の開門時間(日の出の１時間ほど前)に出発すれば間に合います。
名前の通り、Dead valleyでの幻想的な風景を見ることも可能です。
サンライズツアーをロッジで手配することも可能ですが、このロッジまで自力で来れた方は全く問題なくセルフドライブで行けると思います。
部屋はとても広く、清潔で快適なラグジュアリーテントとなっています。バスルーム、トイレに行くのには外を通るので、冬に行く方は寒いと思います。シャワーの水圧、お湯の温度ともに問題ありません。
ドライヤーもついています。
共用部だけでなく部屋でもWiFiが強かったのはとても良い点です。
私が泊まったのは夏だったので、備え付けの冷蔵庫やヒーターは外気が暑すぎて昼間はあまり機能していませんでした。
料理はとても美味しかったです。
朝日を見る方は朝食をパックしてくれます。お水もいただけるのは助かります。
