SUN KARROS DAAN VILJOEN ^{* * *}

Bellissimo luogo vicino a Deadvlei. Già all'interno del parco per cui si evitano le code mattutine d'ingresso al parco per visitare Sossusvlei e Deadvlei. Moderno ma ben inserito nel contesto naturale. Tutti i giorni orici e gazzelle passano tra le tende. Si mangia decisamente bene tenuto conto che siamo lontani da tutto. Personale simpatico e amichevole. Soprattutto il ragazzo alla reception (forse si chiama Rachiel) e scherza sempre. Bravi.

Amazing place. Impeccable location. Friendly staff. Great food. Not exactly cheap but ok for what you get. Be aware that there's no aircon just a rather unique vent/fan system which works fine but the rooms will get quite warm.

A good one indeed. Located between the “internal” and “external” gates meaning your morning entry time depends just on the internal gate that was 5:45 am in our case. Might be important if you want to arrive by sunrise. We enjoyed the food- both dishes and the chef spending time with guests are amazing. The cottage is very nice with a bedroom and shower/washroom being obviously together but in different buildings. Highly recommended

The lodge is really beautiful, located directly in the desert. You sleep in unique tents that are well equipped and really fancy. When chilling at the infinity pool, you can observe Oryx passing by. The dinner is very good and you have a variety of options. The breakfast however, wasn’t great unfortunately, since we had to wait really long to get some eggs.

The Sossusvlei dunes are one of the greatest experiences during our Namibia trip. Highly recommend starting as early as possible and take a guided tour to avoid to many tourists and also not get stuck in the sand. We saw the beautiful sunrise on the dunes and also observed some hyenas.

The experience is worth it, but I would recommend only staying a short time. The tents heat up and the aircon is not always working. A manager is missing to oversee the staff and it seems very unorganised, especially for the price you pay.

朝日が昇る前、デッドフレイの絵画のような絶景を見ることができるロッジの1つです。

夜ご飯で出たクロコダイルのバーベキューがとても美味しかった。
歌うシェフが夜を盛り上げてくれます。
きっと素晴らしい旅行になるでしょう。

※日が昇る前の時間帯のドライブには気をつけてください。野生動物が飛び出してきます。
