Worst hotel experience ever! I would not even give a 2 star to this hotel!
+: location. This is it.
-: don’t believe beautiful pictures you see on the website! The hotel doesn’t have a proper reception (combined with a bar), the staff is super unprofessional and rude. Especially the manager Alex Shreif, who was very agressive and rude to us, which made our Anniversary celebration at the hotel absolute disaster! The rooms are super old and dirty with scratches and spots ont he walls and floors, the room has almost no amenities, you hear everything as it’s an old building. The bed looked like in prison and made noises when moving. And this is for almost 300 chf per night off season! The manager refused us to change the room, as he said it’s what we booked, and on the top of that changed us with the Tourist tax, even if we are Zurich residents and it’s illegal. When we were showing him the quotes from the tourism office online, he said if we want we can call the Tourism office tomorrow. Never saw such a horrible service in a hotel worldwide! Shame on the Maili Selection hotels for the poor management!

Wunderschönes und gemütliches Hotel am Zürichsee. Sehr zentral gelegen. Das Essen und das Zimmer waren hervorragend. Und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Jederzeit wieder.

Praktisches, ruhiges Cityhotel. Frühstück gut, aber Schweiz-like teuer. Bett war exzellent; prima geschlafen. Gerne wieder
