HÔTEL OPERA ^{* * * *}

Very disappointing… the rooms are not the same as in the pictures. The room that we booked was absolutely not big enough for 2 people, it was also not possible to charge a laptop or anything like that. We checked another room, for which we of course had to pay much more per night, but that room was not better at all, it was actually quite creepy. All rooms are super noisy, so you woke up very early when someone walked through the hallway, as if they were standing in your room. We also felt a bit ripped off. We were first in a public parking garage, which cost 45 Francs per 24 hours, later (with great difficulty) we were in a parking space that belonged to the hotel. We had to pay 50 Francs per 24 hours for this, while we later saw that the website indicated 40 Francs. As a foreigner you are not received warmly and we got the feeling that we were being treated less favorably. Not friendly service, very cold. In any case, we felt anything but welcome. Pity. We were glad we left after 2 nights.

Car park “deal” was an outrageous £50 per night.

While we enjoyed our stay the room and bed were extremely small for a couple. Room type not specified during booking.
Location is great also good parking nearby.

L'hôtel Opéra à Zürich est plutôt bien placé, en revanche les chambres ne sont pas forcément à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles. Dans l'ensemble, elles sont assez petites et les prestations varient selon les chambres. Par exemple, le café est en sachet dans certaines chambres alors que d'autres bénéficient de cafetières Nespresso. Autre point négatif, l'hôtesse d'accueil du matin qui semblait franchement de professionnalisme contrairement à celle nous ayant accueilli à notre arrivée la veille au soir...

Siamo nel quartiere di Seefeld, di fronte al famoso Teatro dell’Opera, a pochi passi dal lago e vicini al centro della città. L’hotel presenta una facciata meravigliosa in stile Jugendstil. Arredamento favoloso in stile vintage, sedie e salotti in velluto dai colori pastello, librerie coi libri e riviste di architettura, lampadari importanti.

Camere molto grandi, pulite. Il bagno abbina la funzionalità con specchi e lampade decò. Set di cortesia. Colazioni a buffet. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Tornata dopo un anno, ho ritrovato la stessa magia, dovuta all’arredamento molto accattivante e studiato nei minimi dettagli. Gentilezza e cordialità del personale. Pulizia. Dal balcone vista lago. È il nostro hotel di Zurigo!! ????
