I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your esteemed luxury hotel. Having frequented your establishment on several occasions specifically for the a la carte breakfast and to introduce friends to your hotel, I was taken aback by the unexpected change in your breakfast offering during my visit this morning.

On my previous visits, the a la carte breakfast was a highlight of my experience, providing a personalized and enjoyable start to my day. However, today, I was informed that the a la carte option was no longer available and that I would have to opt for the full breakfast buffet menu. This change was not only disappointing but also perplexing, especially considering that the hotel appeared to be far from full capacity.

The flexibility and attention to individual customer needs have always set your hotel apart in my mind. Today’s experience, however, felt like a stark departure from the high standards of customer service and accommodation I had come to associate with your brand. It was disheartening to see such rigidity in policy, particularly in a scenario where a more personalized approach could have been easily extended.

I understand that policies and offerings evolve, but I firmly believe that how these changes are implemented and communicated to loyal customers is crucial. An explanation or a heads-up about such significant changes to your service offerings would have been appreciated, allowing for a better-prepared visit or the opportunity to make alternative arrangements.

I hope my feedback is received in the constructive spirit in which it is intended. I look forward to your response and to understanding how you plan to address such concerns in the future to ensure the continued high standard of customer service and satisfaction that your hotel is known for.

Was für ein tolles Hotel! Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Penthouse Suite 703. Exklusives Design und ein Traumblick. Alles top gepflegt und sauber. Mitarbeiter äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Frühstück umfangreich und sehr lecker. Und näher am Wasser geht nicht. Einfach herrlich! Abendessen ebenfalls sehr lecker und hochwertig. Wellnessbereich etwas klein aber fein. Mit dem Hotelboot in 25 Minuten in die Züricher Altstadt. Top!! Wir können das Alex nur empfehlen. Man muss hier gewesen sein !

Location is great but i can't say the same for the staff... we got the brunch as a gift unfortunately it was ruined by the totally incompetent and arrogant staff (Waiter and front desk) telling us we were trying to rip the off as the voucher had been used (apparently it was claimed before we even received it, and they insisted that their IT Systems NEVER have any issues...). The manager was well trained but after having received the wrong dishes, and a very disappointing experience with his employee we really can't recommend this place for brunch. The brunch is also overpriced for what you get. Fruit selection was ridiculously small and the a la carte items are not giving enough variety to justify nearly 100.- / person.
