Das Ambiente und der Standort ist toll. Ein Tipp für etwas aussergewöhnliches. Das Essen sah toll aus und hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Allerdings war der Service nicht besonders. Weingläser wurden abgeräumt, nachdem wir zu viert eine Flasche Wein getrunken hatten, ohne zu fragen, ob wir noch etwas wollen. Um ein weiteres Wasser zu bekommen, mussten wir auch bitten. Dessert wollten wir nicht und der Service hat die Karte ohne Kommentar sofort versorgt. Sie war so schnell weg, dass wir nicht mal nach einem Kaffee fragen konnten. Wir wurde kein einziges Mal gefragt, ob wir noch was wollen, als ob sie froh sind, wenn wir gehen. Bitte nicht missverstehen, sie waren alle sehr freundlich, aber in so einem Restaurant kann man mehr Service erwarten. Schade.

My favourite restaurant in Basel. Very easy decor, the one of a classic French brasserie. Impressive food and quality price wine list. The wines are only French and the most expensive cost 105 CHF. Not common in Suisse..Very professional and nice service. Enjoy.

Ein wirklich schönes Hotel mit einem besonderen Flair. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wer es ruhig braucht sollte auf den Innenhof ein Zimmer buchen! Gerne wieder!

Tout était génial, la préparation d'un menu pour 11 personnes, les contacts, le suivi.... Nous arrivons en pleine foire de Bâle et le personnel de service a été à l'écoute, avec des touches d'humour et un professionnalisme irréprochable! La cuisine est elle, dans l'ombre mais!!!! Mais tellement présente dans la qualité de l'assiette....

Brasserie au Violon ( ancienne prison ).
Beau carde avec une des plus belle terrasse Baloise. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Un des rares restaurants Suisse à ne servir que des vins Français. Service agréable à l'image du gérant super sympa et compétant. Pour l'accès, prévoir le parking " Steinen" et poursuivre à pieds ou avec le "tram "

Un hotel situado en un edifio con historia. Punto fuerte, céntrico., sin embargo, las habitaciones pequeñas, el baño muy pequeño, ducha...etc. tampoco tiene una sala de estar este hotel. Todo esto le resta funcionalidad. El desayuno , no es excepcional. Por un precio parecido o inferior, hay hoteles de de 4 estrellas con mejores prestaciones. Definitivamente no volvería.

Immerse in one of the nicest and oldest area of the city. The food is really good. The service is very nice, they don't "push". You can enjoy a great food in a relaxed atmosphere. The tartar is a must to try!
