Having my private suite after some camping it was amazing! Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Mosquito nets too. Food was really good specially breakfast with fresh baguettes, French press coffee, yogurt, juice even Nutella! Great place for rest!

The host here was lovely and obviously very proud of the Auberge. It was what I can imagine being one of the best places to stay in Chinguetti. We had mosquito nets and the bedding appeared clean.

I've never gone to Mauritania but I have great interest in its history and chinguetti is an Important and historical places and this hotel is the only liveable place there

Auberge Eden à Chinguetti
Un accueil merveilleux dans un lieu profondément ressourçant, nous avons adoré notre semaine dans le désert, L’auberge, le Lodge et le jardin d’Eden sont enchanteurs et le lien humain avec Mahmoud et la communauté de Chinguetti inoubliable. Merci pour ce bonheur.

Sembra uscito da una favola di Aladino, in mezzo ale dune, a pochi minuti da Chinguetti.
I bungalow sono ampi, puliti, i letti sono comodi, con lenzuola e piumone perfetti. Inoltre c'è un grande bagno con wc , doccia e lavandino. Manca l'acqua calda, ma a sera il proprietario provvede a portare in ognuno un secchio di acqua bollente con un pentolino. Vi è anche un ampio locale che ci ha messo a disposizione per mangiare. Noi eravamo in 10 e avevamo il cuoco.

L'Auberge est très jolie. Les chambres fraiches et joliment décorées. En mars, le jardin dégage une suave odeur de fleurs d'oranger. Deux salons, l'un intérieur, l'autre extérieur peuvent reposer les voyageurs. Petite exposition d'art lithique dans le jardin. Accueil très agréable.
