MANIFA TRAVEL

It wasn't only me, there were several other groups in the same situation on the day, we were picked up at around 10:30am, 2 hours late to the time we were informed (8:20am-9am) without any updates and information.

Since I joined a half-day tour (31 euro) previously, and it was an amazing experience with perfect support (they picked me up at 8:20am), I booked a 1-day tour (42 euro). However, the van this time actually arrived at the elephant camp at 11:30 due to the dalay. Some instructions & processes I remember from the first tour were skipped in the tour, and we were rushed to ride the elephants. Also we were left alone since there was no guide staff accompanying us.

The saddest situation was that no one answered calls and messages in the morning (few messages were just read) and we had no idea what was going on (such as if the tour was still going/ or canceled, etc).
It is OK to have problems (sometimes inevitable incidents happen), but it's crucial to provide back up support and updates to upset customers after that.

When the van finally arrived, the driver said "Sorry, but it's not my fault." and the staff when I visited the office later said "We were busy because it's Chinese New Year" laughing.

It's definitely a wonderful experience you provide, I wish you will be ready for countermeasures, and the same situation will not happen again in the future.

We booked Manifa for two different excursions, all of the communication was excellent and this was a wonderful company.

Despite having big concerns of taking a tourist group Tour we have to say it was a great experience. Everything from our pick up, visits, lunch etc. just was well organized.

Used for two tours during my week in Luang Prabang. Both went well, one kayaking, one hiking. Each came with a decent lunch. Each tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Prices were good, as a shopped around a bit before booking.
