This Lodge offers the ultimate get away experience. You have the best of both worlds, wifi in the reception area, but limited speeds in the rooms. Having your own private tidal pool is a big bonus. The restaurant offers a variety of foods which will cover most tastes. A negative is the roads, the quality of the roads varies, the town it self offers very limited tourist activity. All in all if total relaxation is what you are looking for, this is Lodge to visit.

Ossimba is truly remote and breathtaking. This was my first visit to Mozambique so wasn't too sure what to expect. The beach is pristine, the water, like a giant swimming pool. We stayed in the ocean villas and they were even better than the photos suggest. Staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

Ossimba is not easy to get too, adding to the magic of the place in many respects. Because it is so remote, sometimes not everything is available that one would want. But again, if you appreciate this fact, you will not find a better value, more relaxing holiday anywhere.
