AS DUNAS

I went to Mozambique for a unique experience, and i found it here. Asdunas was a perfect ending to a long journey. We were collected from the airport in a safari vehicle and had a short drive through the town and onto asdunas' property. Once on property, the view opened up, and we were amazed at the beautiful colors of blues! We then were sat down for an amazing lunch of a salad w black sesame crusted tuna and tomato and cheese foccacia (which was so good). Elena (the owner) came over and sat w us and went over how the lodgings work (tasting menu dinner where you have 2 choices for dinner), massage daily (which was such a treat), ipad in room to contact staff etc. We were then left to just take in the beauty of the Indian ocean and relax in our pool or the ocean! We loved it here and hope to return again

The most spectacular lodge perched in the red dunes of Vilanculos, with pristine view over Bazaruto archipelago. AsDunas feels like a dream within a dream- a haven of luxury and seamless service, nestled in the paradise of the Mozambique coast.
The rooms are well designed, luxurious and stylish- there are 6 safari tents and 2 cottages with AC. We started off in the ac cottage and moved after into a safari tent. Whilst the cottage is gorgeous, the safari tent is very special- the sides, although netted, are open to nature and it’s very special to sleep like that. No issue with the temperature - the netted sides let in breeze.
The food and drink service was excellent - available all inclusive 24/7 with tablets in the rooms to call the bar at any time. Each evening we had a different 6 course tasting menu, including a fabulous pasta course inspired by the lodge’s Italian owners.
The all inclusive doesn’t stop there- each guest gets a daily 1 hour massage or spa treatment (!), and various activities are included too.

It’s just brilliant. Go, you must, and you’ll never regret it! We can’t wait to come back!!

The best hotel I have ever been! With caring owners, everything was made with love, in a familiar way and lots of care in every detail. The manager was extremely kind and efficient, making our stay there an incredible pleasure! And the staff, all of it, was very friendly and resourceful. Rooms and installations are amazing, views and location are ubeatable, restaurant and meals are incredible good. Of course we will return! Lots of thanks to all the As Dunas staff for making our Honey moon end in such a beautiful way. (Elena, Fabio, Chelsea, Rias and team ????)
