This lodge is beautifully located and a perfect place to stay and explore the valley on foot.
After a longer and maybe exhausting hiking tour you can enjoy dinner at the lodge. The dishes are very tasty. They cook local with ingredients from the Island and a mediterrean touch.
Breakfast and lunch packages for the tours are also very good.
The staff helps everytime and is very friendly.
We really enjoyed our stay here.

Tolle Oase in den Bergen, guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Schwimmteich zur Abkühlung danach. Leckeres Abendessen als Buffett kann dazu gebucht werden. Netter und guter Service. Tipps für Wanderungen gibt es an der Rezeption. Einfaches und sauberes Ferienhaus mit allen was man braucht.

We loved the place in the most beautiful valley of Santo Antao...so many beautiful plants and trees there. The bungalows are very simple, so if you want to be back to nature then this is the place to be. For us a bit too many centipedes climbing the walls at night. The food is a buffet served at 7pm every day, amazing food made with the products of the land. People there were very friendly and we tried to communicate with a mix of language, hands and feet, which delivered very nice laugh!

Het ontbijt en diner is prima.
We waren met kleine kindjes en dan is 2 dagen meer dan genoeg. Je kan met kindjes namelijk geen kant op want alles is een heel stuk wandelen en heel veel klimmen en afdalen.
Je kan nergens een klein boodschapje doen want je zit erg afgelegen. Daar waren we niet helemaal op voorbereid ????
De zwemvijver is zalig maar ook niet geschikt voor kleine kinderen. Ze kunnen er niet zelfstandig in komen en niet staan.
De huisjes zijn prima en netjes. De nachten waren heel, heel warm want geen horren voor de ramen en ook geen klamboes dus alles moest dicht tegen de muggen.
Het zou super zijn als ze horen voor de ramen plaatsen zodat je in de nacht gewoon lekker alles open kan laten.
Dank voor de gastvrijheid en de mooie plek!
