Es war sehr interessant! Die Dame, die uns herumgeführt hat, konnte gut Englisch und hat sehr viel über den Herstellungsprozess des Cidre gewusst.
Die Verkostung war mit 8 Getränken sehr ausführlich. Als alkoholfreie Alternative gab es auch super leckeren Apfelsaft.
Das Mittagessen bestand aus einem leckeren Hauptgang und einem Dessert.
Wir können das Anwesen und die Tour sehr empfehlen!

I wanted to see if Domaine shipped to the US. So I emailed them directly. Within a day, they put me in contact with a distributor here in the US, whom called me directly. Turns out, there is a place about 20 minutes from my house that sells the cider. I just picked some up, and it's the same. Also, this past summer, I shared the cider I bought in France with a friend. When I told my friend Dupont put me in touch with a distributor that directed me where to buy some, he asked if I could find a place by him. I emailed him Saturday morning around 9am. I received a response 25 minutes later with a spot my friend can purchase Dupont products. These guys are incredible! If I could give 10 stars, I would. These guys went above and beyond to an extent I rarely see. Absolutely FANTASTIC service.

Maar het beste moest nog komen. We kregen een zeer uitgebreide tasting van een jongedame genaamd Llya. Zelden hebben we zo een grote mate van passie en kennis gezien bij zo een jonge dame. We hebben enkele heel mooie Calvadossen mogen proeven rechtstreeks van het vat en kregen op alle mogelijke vragen een duidelijk antwoord.
Bericht aan de eigenaars van Domaine Dupont ... laat deze dame nooit uit jullie handen glippen ... ze is goud waard !!!
At the end of the tour we were offered a tasting by the sommelier. It was really nice and everything was explained well. He offered different types of cider, calvados.
At the end we bought some bottles of our favourite cider. Even with the only French speaking tour we were asked to pay the tour. I was expecting to have some discount for the inconvenience.
1 star rating only for the inconvenience during the tour. Everything else was amazing.
If you're French speaking person I suggest the visit otherwise I don't.
I came in without an appointment on a Tuesday afternoon (I work in the hospitality and tasting room in Napa, CA so I knew the possibility of being turned away without an appointment) but I was still able to taste some cider and very old Calvados!
It was lovely to see family run distillery and to try a champagne style cider.
I am so glad I stopped by because they sell personal sized bottles of cider. And I was able to enjoy that together with some local cheese late that evening
Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. Always try to call ahead of time still, I might have gotten lucky because I was just a single guest!

Young calvados - elsewhere, this always came with an offering ethanol note, but that was not present in the DuPont product. Oak can’t hide any imperfections here, but there were very few, if any to show.
Medium and very old calvados - oily, smooth mouthfeel. Very pleasant French oak. Long finishes on both
Finished calvados (my favorite) - the 4 year old calvados finished in Lagavulin cask was phenomenal. So peaty and smoky, complemented by fruitiness from the calvados.
Ciders - wow! How did they add a caramel note to the finish? I had to pick a bottle up
