Vor etlichen Jahren wurde das Hotel mal renoviert und die Gelegenheit genutzt um schicke Fotos für die Homepage zu erstellen. Seitdem wurde gefühlt kein Cent mehr in das Hotel gesteckt. Die verwendeten Materialen sind minderwertig und nicht für einen kommerziellen Einsatz geeignet (billig furnierte Spanplatte, dünne Stoffe, Kunstleder), es schaut alles einfach nur abgewohnt aus. Warmwasser kommt in den oberen Stockwerken an seine Grenzen. Sauberkeit der Zimmer naja, Frühstück Katastrophe. Ich habe ab dem zweiten Tag darauf verzichtet und habe stattdessen ein Café in Nähe gesucht.
Positiv hervorzuheben ist die geniale Lage in Strandnähe.

Wonderful location. Most rooms have balconies and the view of the water is beautiful. The rooms are a solid 4 star, pretty, aesthetic, comfortable, and the AC is a nice escape from the eat. No bugs except the unavoidable cockroach here and there (which are much better than flies, mosquitos, ticks, ants, etc of which there are none). There is limited wifi in the rooms, but great connection on the roof and bottom floor in the breakfast dining area.
If you can’t see the water from your room, the top floor is a bar and a nice patio area, complete with a (cold) hot tub, shower, chairs, lounge chairs, and a bathroom.
The breakfast is alright, but if it doesn’t cut it for you there are several restaurants nearby in Sal Rei that have great food all day.
The service is also great.
My main complaint is they charge a lot for water, so I suggest buying a gallon (or 5 liters) from a store in town. That and the walls aren’t very soundproof. These are minor complaints so I give 5 stars.

Superó todas nuestras expectativas. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y bonitas, con camas muy cómodas y amplias y buen baño. Un desayuno increíble, como productos variados, tortillas, huevos, tortitas, etc. que te hacían al momento. Gran facilidad para contratar servicios externos y tours a través del hotel. Personal muy agradable y atento. Situado en una preciosa playa de Sal Rei a la que nuestros dormitorios tenías vistas. Esta playa además estaba muy poco masificada por lo que era muy agradable pasar el rato allí. Su terraza con jacuzzi también nos sorprendió mucho. El servicio de coctelería es espectacular. Desde esta misma terraza o desde la playa en la que se encuentra el hotel se pueden ver unos atardeceres preciosos.

Habitaciones muy amplias, modernas y cómodas. Un desayuno muy variado con huevos, tortillas y tortitas que te iban haciendo en el momento. La terraza con el jacuzzi es increíble, muy agradable a cualquier hora del día, sobre todo al atardecer con un buen cóctel. Situado en una playa muy buena y tranquila. Personal muy agradable.

Un séjour presque parfait dans cet hôte Cap Verdien. Le personnel est souriant et disponible, le service et la propreté quasi irréprochables. Le roof top offre terrasse, bar/resto jacuzzi et music live le jeudi. Bonne organisation.

Personnel très sympa et au petit soin. Bonne literie, très propre, calme.
Roof top au top. Vue très sympa sur la mer turquoise.
Un bémol mettez des patins aux chaises du restaurant car le crissement incessant au petit déjeuner est un calvaire.

Tolles, einfaches Hotel, super Lage. Für uns ideal, da wir die Insel erkunden wollten und nicht in einem ,Bunker, Hotel sein wollten.
Die Zimmer passte für uns, das Bad hat eine Renovation nötig. Etwas Abwechslung beim Frühstück wäre gut, jedoch hat mich nicht gestört. Wenig Tische für's Frühstück drinnen, draussen waren auch nur 2.
Das einzige war, dass wir an einem Abend für ein Glas Wein 300 Escudos bezahlt haben, und am anderen Abend 500 (andere Bedienung) ?!?! Dachterrasse super toll mit der Aussicht.

Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein. Personal überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sind sehr geräumig.

Hôtel très bien situé. A 30metres de la plage. Dommage que certains menbre du personnel ne soit pas simpathique,a chaque passage à l'accueil on a beau leurs dire bonjour ils reste fixé sur l'écran d'ordinateur. Sans oublier le bruit très gênant à partir de 5h du matin, il ya une terrasse en haut avec un bar surtout ne pas prendre les chambres du haut

Séjour effectué en juillet 2019 , Boa Vista est une île du Cap-Vert, au large de la côte de l’Afrique de l’Ouest . Elle est connue pour ses dunes de sables et les paysages volcaniques lunaires du désert.Les plages de sable blanc et les tortues de mer sont réputées pour nicher sur le rivage, tandis que les eaux du littoral constituent une voie de migration pour les baleines à bosse.Paradisiaque et tropicale, j’ai séjourné dans un magnifique hôtel Le Riu Touareg ????????Les gens sont très chaleureux, c’est un lieu incontournable !!!

Fui jantar ao terraço por volta das 20h. Desisti. O empregado estava mais preocupado em transformar a hora do jantar num bar. Ao invés de me atender estava preocupado a atender um grupo de raparigas que estavam ali a consumir 1 só bebida. Depois de 5 minutos com nenhuma "boa noite" desisti e fui jantar no restaurante que eles têm no R/c. Aí sim... o atendimento foi cordial e rápido. Qualidade boa e bons preços. Passadas 2 semanas voltei lá para jantar (no terraço) para dar uma segunda oportunidade. Uma desilusão.... 1h e 20 minutos para me colocarem pelo menos os guardanapos na mesa. Não fui embora porque a minha companhia insistiu para ver esta telenovela até ao fim.... de 3 estrelas baixo para 1. Nunca mais cá volto.

Ich bewerte hier ausschließlich die rooftopbar. Toller Blick in den Sonnenuntergang. Cocktails gibt es bessere auf der Insel. Aber es ist ok. Preis Leistung mit 5€ für Mojito stimmt in diesem Fall. Ich würde hier einen Apperitiv bei Sonnenuntergang genießen und dann in ein Restaurant gehen.

Meine Erfahrungen mit dem Hotel waren nicht gut. Der eine oder andere Angestellte war freundlich. Aber die meisten haben kaum den Mund aufgekommen. Mein Zimmer wurde nicht jeden Tag geputzt. Die Reinigungskraft hat es davon abhängig gemacht, ob man ihr Trinkgeld hingelegt hat oder nicht. Die Handtücher wurden gewechselt, wenn ich danach gefragt habe sonst nicht. Der Duschvorleger war nass und schmutzig und nicht gewechselt.(Trinkgeld gibt man, wenn man zufrieden war und in welcher Höhe und zu welcher Zeit, bleibt doch immer noch dem Gast überlassen). Im Badezimmer war Schimmel. Minibar war gar nicht vorhan. Frühstück war mehr als einfach und ich bin nicht anspruchsvoll. Die Bar auf dem Dach wurde nicht jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Wasser im kleinen Pool war schmutzig.
Die Insel würde ich durchaus noch einmal besuchen jedoch ein anderes Hotel buchen.
