Mitten in Salzburg, eine Top Location! Die Zimmer sind toll eingerichtet und eine Mischung aus modern und traditionell. Einziges Manko: man konnte dir Badezimmertür nicht komplett schließen. Es blieb immer ein Spalt. Hat mich als Alleinreisende jetzt nicht gestört, zu zweit wär es aber blöd gewesen ????

Siamo stati 2 notti , camera priva di aria condizionata dotata solo di ventilatore e con il caldo di agosto questo purtroppo ha fatto la differenza ! Tenendo aperte le finestre non si riesce a dormire per il rumore che proviene dai locali della strada fino alle 3 di mattina … personalmente non consiglierei …

The rooms are nice enough, but this is not what you’d normally expect from a four star hotel.

Things to keep in mind:
- If you’re traveling by car, I would recommend parking in the lot first and wheeling your bags a block over. Otherwise, you’ll have to get a code from the front desk to enter and exit a very busy pedestrian mall. It’s stressful if you’re not used to driving on ancient roads through crowds and outdoor seating.
- There’s no air conditioning, so it gets very hot in the summer.
- We came on a busy festival weekend during the summer. Given the amount of street noise, we were unable to sleep with the windows open during some very hot nights.
- No breakfast served - though there are some croissants you can pay a la carte for.
- As a couple other people have noted, the body wash smells odd.

In general, the point I would stress the most is the price quality ratio. The price is way to expensive for the quality of the installations. Supposedly they are a 4 star hotel but they had stuck a paper to the wall with the number 12 written by hand to signal the room. The hotel is not what you imagine when you think 4 stars. In addition, the curtains do not fulfill their purpose because at 6 am all of the light was coming in. Therefore if you like sleeping in the dark this is probably not the best place to sleep in.

Apart from that, very good location and modern bathroom.
