Horrible experience. HUNDREDS of people. Multiple tour groups at once. Those online pics of a mostly empty beautiful library? You can forget about that. I’m not paying €10 to be in a sardine can.

One of the most beautiful libraries I have visited. The art work is stunning. I visited the place on a Thursday. There are substantial written and audio guides to help you understand the history of the place. The place left me enchanted as a tourist to Vienna.

The "Prunksaal" is magnificent. Both the books and the rich interior and architecture are a marvellous sight. The tickets aren't cheap, but in my point of view they're worth the visit. Especially since in my case, there was also a very interesting exhibition.

Even though I am still kind of grumpy regarding paying for the ticket (7.5€, student ticket), I have to cast aside my bias and tell you that the place is truly wonderful. If you are a musician, or can read notes, this place is a must go. Like, a 10/5 experience. For the rest, there is no picture online that can do the place justice. It looks wonderful.

Now, even though my girlfriend ADORED it, I would personally advise every traveler to first exhaust all the free options and then pay for tickets. Vienna is truly majestic.

S'il y a une bibliothèque à visiter c'est elle ! Vaste et silencieuse elle renferme en elle tous les secrets de l'histoire modernes. De plus saviez-vous que les étudiants des universités voisines peuvent y travailler leurs examens car des salles leur sont mises à disposition ? C'est incroyable de pouvoir imaginé étudiant la ou les plus grands et plus illustres personnages de l'histoire et de la politique autrichienne ont pu peut-être un jour jouer le parie la survie de la nation !

Büyülü bir ortamı var, Sanki bir film sahnesinin içinde gibi hissetme olasılığınız yüksek. Kütüphaneye girişin güncel fiyatı 10 Euro. Aile bileti var. Çok eski kitaplarla dolu bir ortam, dokunmak mümkün olmuyor tabii. Geniş bir koridor boyunca yürümek, oturup ortamı izlemek, muhteşem tavan boyamasına bakmak ve dokunmatik büyük ekrandan kütüphane hakkında detaylı bilgi almak mümkün.

The book depository is very impressive. The nation's touching attitude towards its historical heritage gives a pleasant impression.

Tickets on the website are cheaper than buying them at the box office if you are a budget tourist and want to save a little money.

Çok güzel bir kütüphane. güncel giriş fiyatı 10 Euro. Girişte duran güvenlik personeli bazen yerinde bulunmuyor bu sırada ücretsiz girebilirsiniz :). Ayrıca içeride bulunan dokunmatik büyük ekrandan kütüphane hakkında detaylı bilgileri alabilirsiniz.

Ein magischer Ort… sobald man in den Prunksaal eintritt, kommt man aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus.
Einen Stern Abzug dafür, dass auf Google der Eintritt mit 5€ ausgewiesen wurde, aber vor Ort musste ich 10€ Eintritt bezahlen. Obwohl es sehr sehenswert war, ist der doppelte Preis etwas unangemessen.

Die Wiener Staatsbibliothek ist zweifellos eine schöne und beeindruckende Sehenswürdigkeit. Allerdings könnten einige Besucher den Eintrittspreis als etwas teuer empfinden. Trotzdem bietet die Bibliothek einen faszinierenden Einblick in die Geschichte und Kultur Wiens und ist einen Besuch wert, besonders für Bücherliebhaber und Geschichtsinteressierte.

The Library is a place of extraordinary beauty and marvel. It is a place any bibliophile should definitely visit. Built in its present form during the XVIII the library hosts the personal collections of several Habsburg monarch. The richly decorated interior combines the riches of the Austrian empire with a number of splendid pieces of art, as well as several marvellous globes, used by the learned men at the Royal court.
