Fijne grote kamers met balkon en veel ramen, toplocatie om het noorderlicht te zien. Grote badkamer en een complete keuken met koelkast, vriezer en oven in de kamer en een slaapbank. Een hottub en sauna staan ook ter beschikking van de gasten. Lekker gegeten in het restaurant, hartelijke ontvangst. Sfeervol is het restaurant niet, t lijkt meer een conferentie zaal. De kamers zijn ook iets gedateerd. Maar prijs kwaliteit verhouding is zeer goed. En t eten en drinken ook. Prachtig noorderlicht vanuit de hottub mogen aanschouwen ????????

This is a great cheap stop over for anyone wanting to get around on more of a budget. The room had a great kitchen facility (even an oven) which was helpful.

You have two towns nearby with large supermarkets. Wouldn't recommend eating in the restaurant, very expensive and basic.

It's also not as secluded (off a main road) but still pretty quiet. Would stay again.

Hôtel proposant des petits appartements avec terrasse, très bien situé, vue magnifique.
Et bel endroit pour observer les aurores boréales !

Great room and awesome Plokkfiskur and deep fried fish. Don't let the ambiance fool you, this was probably the best food we had in 11 days in Iceland.

Tipp: Fahren Sie nicht durch den Tunnel, sondern um Hvalfjördur die Straße 47. Einmalige Landschaft! Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Sauna hätte heißer sein können. Das Essen am Abend war in Ordnung, Catch of the day. Der Salat war sehr frisch. Blick aus dem Fenster schön, aber wegen der Straße bleibt es besser zu. Leider kein Nordlicht gesehen. Parkplatz nahe am Zimmer. Zum Restaurant muss man ums Haus herum.

Struttura piuttosto piccola ma molto carina e accogliente. Le camere sono ampie e ben arredate, alcune hanno anche la cucina. La struttura ha anche una area spa con vasca idromassaggio e sauna. Raccomandato!

Hotel situado junto a la carretera y un río con muchos pescadores cuando llegamos. Habitaciones muy amplia, con cocina completa. Pequeña terraza.
Baño amplio pero con mampara móvil, el agua pasa por debajo e inunda baño.
Mejorables colchones y almohadas.

We love this hotel. It was clean, in a great location and the kitchen in room was ideal! Located centrally and right along the river, we would recommend to anyone in the area!

Very helpfull and attentive staff.
Convenient accomodation at a reasonable price. Room with private bathroom and own kitchen. Sauna and hit pool for guests. Possibility to use laundry room for free.

I stayed for one night in March. The room I had was very wide with a lovely glass front so perfect viewing of the northern lights. The room had amazing cooking facilities and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast for me was a little expensive at around ISK 3,000 (which I did not take) and somehow the restaurant did not look all that cosy and perhaps targeted towards your groups. The location is okay, but, remember to visit the Government booze shop before you go and have a beer on your balcony overlooking a lovely mountain. I did not use the sauna or hot tub. The hot tub location looked okay, but, in typical Iceland design looked as though it had just been plonked there without little thought for its immediate environment. Overall, a very modern and clean hotel.

Perfect place for watching the northern lights! But the standard of the accommodation is moderate. If your only aim is to watch the aurora borealis, then it is the right place!

Only stayed here one night but unfortunately didn't enjoy it as much as we thought. Even though it's a perfect place for catching the northern lights, the apartment itself didn't impress us. The bathroom was flooded every time somebody showered or simply just used the toilette. Several socks got wet because of it. We booked for 4 people but got only 3 beds ready, which didn't fit the description on booking. Also, the TV cable was loose and no channels were available.

Géographiquement, je trouve que l'hôtel est bien placé car les distances à parcourir pour chacun des sites touristiques localisés au nord et au sud de l'île restent equivalentes.
Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées, privilégier les chalets ou chambres avec coin cuisine.
L'hôtel possède un service de restauration.
Pas de vis à vis. Le panorama depuis les chambres est superbe, vu sur le récif montagneux.
Le service de chambre est discret et efficace.
Le personnel d'accueil est très arrangeant et disponible.

Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Wonderful family run hotel in a great location! The owners are very nice and warm people. Comfortable bed with great linens. The room was absolutely spotless! Great amenities that include a hot tub with a great view, sauna and a laundry room ( that was so much need for us). Private balcony with amazing views! The restaurant had the best fish stew!
Highly recommend staying here!
