This is a great campsite! Clean, convenient, and open year-round. I’ve stayed twice over the past few years and always gotten a hot shower, clean bathroom, and kind campsite attendant. It’s not necessarily glamorous but it’s predictable and the perfect stop between Snæfellsness and the West Fjords. It’s 1500ISK per person (like $10USD) and they’ll knock on your camper van door when they’re ready for you to pay. It’s right off the main road across from a gas station but the main campsite is tucked back a little bit for privacy. I have felt super safe here!

Literally a parking lot behind a school. Convenient place to stop for a late night early morning departure. No reason to stick around
La cocina, lo que se ve, una placa de inducción y un camping gas (sin soporte). Pero la sala estaba caliente así como el cuarto de al lado con lavadora -secadora (se paga aparte) y grifo para lavar. No hay recepción, una chica pasó con un datáfono a las 8 pm, tb pasa a las 8am para cobrar.
No hay mucho más por la zona, así que para una noche, salir de la camper y poder cocinar y estar fuera, está bien
