Nach 2 Wochen Rundfahrt über Island bin ich mir jetzt sicher, daß ist das mit Abstand schlechtes Hotel von allen in den wir gewesen sind. Die Zimmer sind gerade so im Bereich "ok" für eine Nacht, länger möchte man hier nicht bleiben. Das Buffet egal ob Frühstück oder Abendessen ist das Geld nicht wert. Das einzige gut ist, was alle anderen Hotels auch haben, es gibt wlan und kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür.

Dear Robert, we appreciate the feedback but are very sorry to read about your experience. Sorry that you did not enjoy the room nor the price of our dinner buffet. Our breakfast buffet is included with all room bookings but dinner buffet costs 7.300 ISK/per person. We have a list of all you can eat dishes at our website. The hotel comes with a reasonable price for their rooms and Service. The staff was nice and everything was tidy and clean. It has a really great breakfast. The dinner is also nice to have, but if you arent eating large amounts you may find it expensive for the ~50€. You find other Restaurants in the area to go out eating though :)
There is a Golf place nearby, or you can enjoy the ocean which is just 10 minutes walking distance away

Its a pretty basic hotel and the exterior is in a bad need of a paint, but the rooms were tidy and spacious with a lovely view of the glacier. The breakfast was nice. Evening buffet was hugely overpriced if you want something quick to eat

J'ai passé 10 jours en Islande et j'ai séjourné exclusivement dans des auberges, à l'exception de la nuit où j'ai séjourné ici, et c'était un vrai régal. La chambre était propre et calme et exactement ce dont j'avais besoin. Le lendemain, le petit-déjeuner gratuit était composé d'un grand choix de viandes, de fromages, de différentes sortes de poissons, de pain fait maison, de fruits, etc. J'aurais dû prendre une photo, c'était tellement charmant.
