Amazing place to stay, the staff and owners are AMAZING and so very welcoming, we camped out in our camper-van and because the hot water in the camping showers had just broke they let us take showers in the hotel for free. If I could rate this place 10 stars, I’d still give it 11!

Lots of puffins here in the early June, and the closest place to camp at the edge of the world (the western most tip of Europe) but it really does feel like the edge of the world

Alles schon ziemlich alt, selbst das Restaurant/Hotel ist rein optisch ...in die Jahre gekommen. Aber der Platz war sauber, die sanitären Einrichtungen auch. Für 2400 Kronen pro Person (????) war Strom, Dusche und Waschmaschine (kein Trockner!) inklusive. Wir standen autark, mussten den vollen Preis aber trotzdem bezahlen. Die letzten 24 km der Anfahrt waren mehr als holprig auf einer Schotterstraße, die von Schlaglöcher nur so gespickt war. Mit dem Leihwagen kann es einem egal sein, nicht aber, wenn man mit dem eigenen Wagen anreist! Falls ihr zu den Papageientauchern wollt: die Piste wird auf den letzten 6 km dorthin noch mal deutlich schlechter!

Very nice campsite- great view, big and well equipped kitchen & clean toilets. We paid 2400isk/person . shower and laundry included. (We used the shower on the hotel side. The one in camp area was broken)

Very nice location, big practical kitchen and very friendly staff!

They will also let you know if any northern light appear at night.

Highly recommend this campground.
