Nothing fancy but very homely.. loved it when the hosts' little twins lit the candles for the dinner table.. played a bit of football in the ground next to the hotel..

Wir wurden gestern sehr freundlich bei unserer Ankunft begrüßt und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war super; Brot hat frisch und selbst gebacken geschmeckt und auch die Waffeln waren lecker. Wir wurden auch gefragt, ob wir lieber Rührei möchten, was ich sehr nett & aufmerksam fand. Unser Zimmer & unser Bad war wirklich sehr sauber. Ja, das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig, aber es hat auf jeden Fall Potential. Viel Erfolg an die beiden Besitzer :)

!!!! Extrémně špatný přístup!!!!
Po našemu příjezdu jsme zjistili, že hotel je úplně opuštěný. Byly zamčené dveře, zvednuté židle a bylo jasné, že hotel nepočítá s žádnými hosty. A to jsme měli rezervaci a celý hotel jsme měli kompletně zaplacený. Telefon nezvedali…. A nebylo možné se s hotelem spojit.
Naštěstí Booking nám pomohl.
Ale hotel určitě nedoporučujeme!!

a no frills basic hotel with shared bathrooms in a remote area of the Vatnses peninsula. good dirt road get you there. breakfast was good. best experience was that the rooms all gave north and in the dark we experienced a spectacular view of northern lights after midnight. nearby sea stack and bird life amazing.

Not acceptable to pay such a price for such a poor service. This Hotel looks abandoned and is left in its 70s used state. Bathrooms are old, entrance of the hotel is a shame, signs of water leaks in the corridor, the hotel advertises pool game for which the sticks are not useable and have the same age as the hotel. If you want to propose such price please renew your hotel. Location is isolated so at least improve the experience for the respect of your customers
