We are doing an Iceland round trip and our travel agency booked this for us. We had a bit low expectations coming here judging by the reviews but we were happily surprised! The staff was friendly. The room felt newly renovated and was clean and had all you needed including comfy beds and nice ecological shampoo and conditioner. No signs of rust anywhere as mentioned in other reviews. The bathroom had some smell from the water but we have experienced much worse so far during this trip and with the door closed it didn’t reach the main room. The windows opened if you felt the need to let some fresh air in. Breakfast was also nice and had everything we needed like yogurt, bread, boiled egg, some fruits, coffee and muffins but not things like bacon, scrambled eggs or waffles. If you get the same experience that we had there’s no need to worry and you will be satisfied!

Overall, the hotel is very dated. The elevator is new and very fast. Friendly staff. Furniture in rooms is banged up. The shower experience is terrible. You shower in a square box so it's difficult to move about. No place to put shampoo or soap. Water drains slow so you stand in 2 inches of water. Sometimes it comes out only cold or only hot. Absolutely not worth the steep price. Continental breakfast was good with fresh fruit available.

Quite dated but ideal for a night's stop over. All clean no complaints there. Breakfast was purely continental with no hot option so a little restricted. Staff friendly
Zimmer sind gut. Hatte Befürchtungen nach all den Rezessionen.
Aber war positiv überrascht, sauber,platz.
Das Essen war sehr lecker nur zu Empfehlen.
