Nice, clean hotel. Rooms are tight.

Direkt am Hafen gelegen, vom Balkon aus hatten wir einen herrlichen Blick aus dem 4ten Stock. Die Zimmer waren für den Zwischenstopp groß genug, sauber, leise und die Betten sehr bequem. Die Einrichtung aus alten und modernen Möbelstücke verlieh dem ganzen einen besonderen Charme. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und vielfältig. In nur ein paar Gehminuten waren wir im Zentrum, alles top immer wieder gerne

Best hotel in Myvatn
Northern lights wake-up calls the most reliable among all hotels I stayed in Iceland — very timely when the activity was starting to get “serious”.
Breakfast on the pricier side than other hotels in Iceland, but you get what you paid for — spacious and nice seating, huge selections of food, clean tables, friendly servers, frequent refills of the food — so I think it’s justified.
The hot tubs were small but lovely for a dip when it’s cold — you can borrow bathrobes from the front desk, which’s thoughtful when it’s freezing cold outside.
Overall I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Myvatn where you’d have an enjoyable stay.
