Das bisher bescheidenste Hotel auf meiner Reise auf Island.
Die Zimmer sind leider etwas in die Jahre gekomme, durch die Fenster zieht es und vom Badezimmer will ich erst gar nicht anfangen.
Jedoch ist das Frühstück toll und die Besitzer sehr nett. Von hier aus, kann man tolle Tagestouren starten und Akueryri ist 10 min entfernt.

Een heel gemoedelijke herberg met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig maar lekker. De eigenaar regelde een taart voor een jarige in ons gezelschap en bood aan om traditioneel voor ons te koken, nadat we gevraagd hadden waar we traditioneel ijslands konden eten. Hij gaf uitleg over het eten en had zelfs het toetje gemaakt dat zijn moeder vroeger serveerde op feestdagen!

Gorgeous location with an amazing view, especially from the hot tub :)
The staff was very welcoming and kind, and provided excellent service. I would definitely come back here, if I ever have the chance!!
For the dog lovers among us, there are two beautiful and very friendly dogs on the terrain outside at times. However, they will not bother you at all, if you don't want them to.

- Las habitaciones son austeras y muy pequeñas.
- El sanitario era muy incómodo, la taza no tenía un olor agradable y la cortina de la regadera tenía mal olor.
- Tienen wifi con buena señal.
- Aceptan tarjetas de crédito y débito como método de pago adicional al efectivo.
- Si tienes movilidad reducida y/o vas en silla de ruedas, te comento que el acceso y movilidad dentro del lugar es de dificultad alta.
- No hay elevador.
- La ropa de cama no estaba limpia. La colcha tenía manchas de suciedad. (Te comparto fotografías).
- Al hotel en general le faltaba orden y limpieza.
- La atención fue regular. Llegué un Miércoles alrededor de las 8:30 p.m. y nadie estaba en la recepción, tuve que llamar al hotel estando en el hotel para registrarme, contestaron el teléfono y solo dijeron que en el mostrador había una lista con los nombres de los huéspedes y los números de habitación designados a cada uno, que me fijara en la lista y tomara la llave correspondiente, (Había una hoja en la recepción explicando lo anterior y otros temas). Al día siguiente que hice el check out, estaba un señor que cobró la habitación y se fue inmediatamente.
- El estacionamiento es gratuito y de tamaño mediano.
- No cuentan con valet parking ni botones.
- El buffet de desayuno era limitado.
