worked well for staying over a night in Myvtan. Room was decently spacious for 4 people and comfortable bunk beds. Curtains were not blackout. Kitchen had 2 of everything (ovens, fridge, sink, stove etc) and a good amount of space, making it feasible for multiple parties to cook and prepare meals simultaneously. Lots of tables and seating. No issues with lines for bathroom or shower.

O parque de campismo é básico, tem poucas condições, só tem um chuveiro para homens e outro para mulheres, no entanto ainda havia algumas pessoas, logo havia muita gente à espera para poder tomar banho. A água estava constantemente a mudar de temperatura não sendo nada agradável. Os Wc estavam mal cuidados possivelmente nem eram limpos. Os espaços de estacionamento são razoáveis. O preço não condiz com as péssimas condições é muito elevado. Parque de campismo não recomendável.

Nice!! Room was cozy and there were amenities like towel and bath soap provided. A simple and nice breakfast in the morning was also provided too!! Staff was helpful too. Location good to get to nearby attractions. Only thing is no fridge in the room and it had to be stored in the common kitchen but it was ok!

A rather expensive campsite, but comes with quite modern and spacious facilities at the hostel area. We used only those in the hostel and went back to the campsite for sleeping.

The location was perfect for exploring the sights in this area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and neat, with a cool view of the lava fields. The breakfast was delicious! The best I had while in Iceland.

Sehr freundliche Dame an der Rezeption.

Zimmer, Bad und Küche waren sauber
WLAN funktionierte super
Betten waren bequem
Das Hostel liegt nicht weit von allen möglichen Sehenswürdigkeiten

Man benötigt wenn man im Hostel ein Bett gebucht hat einen eigenen Schlafsack oder muss Bettwäsche mieten.
(Das steht aber auch in den Bedingungen)

I was here for a couple of nights a few years ago. Nice wooden cabin, great views and everything was functional and clean. Nothing bad to say. Maybe a bit pricey compared to the price level in my home country, but you have to get used to it in Iceland.

Nous sommes arrivés sans personne pour nous accueillir mais apres l appel la personne a mis peu de temps a venir en voiture.
Les lieux sont propres et quant aux chambres ...étant peu nous avons eu le droit à des chambres pour chacun avec plusieurs lits vides

Ci siamo fermati per una notte in questo campeggio. Ci siamo trovati molto bene e la posizione, appena più in là del paese con poca luce, in una posizione che ci ha permesso di vedere chiaramente l'aurora boreale.

Gentilissimo lo staff, posizione perfetta per le attrazioni attorno a Myvatn.
Camera ridotta ma pulita, bagno comodo (l'acqua calda odora di zolfo come tutta l'aria della zona).

Stayed in the bed and breakfast area. Good tidy rooms with decent bathrooms. Breakfast starts at 7am which was great with a selection of breads, meats, fruits, yogarts etc. Best part is the lack of light pollution making it a great place see the northern lights.

One of the few options in the area, so choice is limited. Barely could sleep with the mattresses and bunkbed frames making an incredible amount of noise with each movement made. Same goes for the doors and hallway floors. Kitchen was fine and bathrooms okay, but the ratio of people to amenities is really bad. Waiting times are high.

Me han cobrado 9 euros más de lo que contraté en Booking, no sé muy bien porque, la zona común para comer estaba guay pero el dormitorio parecía un albergue juvenil de 200 euros noche con camas que chirriaban al mínimo movimiento. Las telarañas las amo porque atrapan moscas y mosquitos pero las de nuestra habitación eran demasiado grandes. La situación está bien.

Loved the rustic Hlid Hostel as a base camp to explore the Reykjahlíðarkirkja church, small cemetery, lava flows, and Icelandair Hotel Myvatn restaurant, all which were within walking distance.

Gorgeous view in the 2 bedroom cottage. 3 adults stayed here and there was plenty of room and amenities. Very quiet and scenic with panoramic views. Would definitely recommend and stay again! The office staff was more than friendly and everything went smoothly.

We stayed at the campground for two nights: very nice and quiet camping. Enough space.Nice views over Lake Myvatn. In the middle of lava fields. Very friendly staff.
Good laundry service: you leave your laundry at the reception and the next morning you pick up the clean and dry laundry. Hot showers included.
Only disadvantage is that there is no covered area for washing your dishes. They have a large tent as covered area.
Excellent value for money.

La camping en terrasse, même s'il est un peu à l'écart du village, est très bien situé et offre une vue magnifique.
Le gros point négatif, concerne les sanitaires qui sont moyennement entretenus et sont en nombre insuffisant par rapport au nombre de campeurs.
Une tente mess permet de faire sa popote en cas de mauvais temps ce qui peut être appréciable.
Il est également possible d'acheter à prix réduit des entrées pour le Mývatn Nature bath
