We were there in 2023, and had issues with getting in. Most campsites in Iceland requires to log online. The campsite has a QR code, which we could not read, we do not have the software. The internet connection at the place is really poor. Next we managed to find the campsite on parka.is, but due to the bad connection on the site it took half an hour to make the booking

We have camped here on the night of the 28th of January 2024. The campsite is totally self service in winter with a QR code for online payments. The pizzeria is closed in winter. The kitchen and the dining room are very spacious, the latter having even a piano. Restrooms and showers are just fine. It was the only campsite where we could spot the Northern lights! Suggestion: the entry path to the main building was EXTREMELY slippery and we both fell badly. Please put some salt on it during winter time!

Estuvimos con la camper, no hay nadie en recepción ni nada lo haces por la web y todo perfecto, tienes lavabos, duchas y cocina a tu servicio, nosotros hicimos la cena y super bien bastantes cosas como sartenes y utensilios que puedes utilizar, y se estaba bastante calentito en el comedor y ademas vimos auroras.

Check-in en ligne en arrivant. Espaces communs relativement grands.
En revanche la douche dégageait une odeur immonde (la même odeur que sur le site D'hverir non loin) et avec de l'eau chaude par intermittence et à très faible débit.
