Guesthouse sul lago Myvatn con colazione eccezionale. Camera spaziosa e pulita, con bagno (con vasca) e cucina in comune. Colazione eccezionale dolce e salata, anche con la possibilità di assaggiare il tipico pane locale (lava/geyser bread) assieme a burro e trota affumicata.

Stayed there as a family for four nights and the two girls that were running this place where so hospitable. Their service was very good. We have a 19 month baby girl and we came a little bit early, called them and asked for a early check in. No problem. When we arrived almost everything was ready with a children´s bed and everything. Our doughter has allergic to eggs and milk and they custom made breakfast for us. I myself ate the buffet and it was really good!

The bed was good and the room that we got was separate from the main building, it had a sink in it and a desk. You can hear commotion if somebody is opening doors but its ok. There was 2 toilets both with showers, everything clean and a small kitchen where you could cook, store your food in the fridge and eat at a table.

I accidentally broke an bottle opener and told them about it and they just brought me a new one. I promised to buy a new one but I totally forgot it.

I recommend this place, especially if you have kids. Just let them know beforehand and they will take good care of you.

Pro: Friendly staff. There is a laundry service (bit pricey, 1500 ISK for washing and 1500 for drying, but it is good). Good shower. Location near lake Myvatn. Nice kitchen. Shared space is is clean including floor as you have to take off your shoes at the entrance.
Con: Room was extremely warm even though we opened the window and turned down the heating (outside was 4 degrees!). This wasn’t comfortable at all. The walls are thin which makes the rooms very noisy; when we stayed there, there was a family with young children and we could hear every sound.
Advice: leave the keys in the door on the outside because they cannot be opened without them and you only get 1.

Отличное место, нам очень понравилось. Комнаты комфортные, матрасы удобные, что просыпаться не хочется. Полностью оборудованная кухня. Места хватает всем. Нар разрешили выселиться позже. Определённо рекомендую там остановиться.
