Schön gelegen, saubere WCs, gute Küche und Utensilien zum Abwaschen vorhanden. Leider funktionierte der Trockner nicht (Kosten 1050 ISK, Jeton musste im Hotel geholt werden). Zudem ist das Loch für das Abwasser sehr schlecht platziert, wir konnten mit unserem RV nicht darüber fahren (Gitter kaputt).

What a gorgeous little campsite! We arrived at 11pm - signed in via the Parka app and got sent the code to access the facilities.
Beautiful view - just absolutely stunning place to wake up. Facilities were wonderful. Clean bathrooms. Full kitchen with hot top, pots/pans, sugar/oil/spices, tables and chairs. All heated.
Not unreasonable price and very easy process overall..

Nice campground with some facilities. Last time some weeks ago we were alone. Now 25th May pretty packed.

Okay campground but not fantastic. You have to go to the hotel down the street to pay for staying at the campground. You are given a code to the main room that contains the kitchen the bathrooms and the shower. Unfortunately the code does not work consistently sometimes it works on the doors sometimes it does not.
Certainly usable if you need a campground in the area.

The area was warm and sunny (probably because the mountains blocked wind??) so our stay felt very comfortable. We walked around the harbour of the town and also a bit on the walking trails - beautiful scenery especially in the evening at sunset!
