Berunes n'est pas seulement un endroit charmant à visiter pour les habitants et les visiteurs, c'est aussi l'un des lieux de restauration les meilleurs et les plus créatifs des fjords. Chaque assiette est esthétiquement magnifique, la nourriture est bien équilibrée et excitante à manger. Le pain était excellent, le personnel attentif, compétent et poli - même face à des clients difficiles, ils ont gardé leur sang-froid et leur professionnalisme ! Berunes accueille un chef créatif et passionné qui prend le temps, pendant le service, de saluer les convives et de partager son amour pour son métier. Un véritable bijou dans l'est de l'Islande et un régal pour nous.

Nous venons de séjourner au camping de Barunes. Les installations sont parfaites ! Tout est propre et accessible. Le personnel est fantastique...serviable, gentil et informatif. Le restaurant est confortable et chaleureux. Juste ce qu'il faut à la fin d'une journée d'aventure bien froide !

If I could give this hostel 10 stars I would. My boyfriend and I called very late one evening (9pm) without a reservation, under bad weather and after a very long day driving a very stressful 95 road. Aday was the best host ever. He waited for us and gave a beautiful, clean and accesible little room for couples. He understood we were very tired and made the whole process so easy. Aday's attention that night and the morning after was magnificient and he spoke spanish (win!!). I fully recommend this hostel, the shared kitchen is gorgeous and fully equipped, we made a big breakfast with supplies we had in our camper van. You can see the sheep eating and resting in the valley. This was a big plus of our trip to Iceland, and even though it was raining the view of the valley is gorgeous,we hope to meet again!! Big thank you Aday!!

Ein wirklich sehr schönes und außergewöhnliches Hostel. Lage ist ruhig. In den Ostfjorden ist eh wenig los. Ein alter Bauernhof, umgebaut und sehr in Schuss.

Herzliche Chefin und beeindruckendes Frühstück. Frisch gezapftes Bier kann im Speiseraum bestellt werden.

Highlight waren die dortigen Nordlichter.

What a wonderful stay! Great facilities, kitchen, rooms, and lodge. The land was beautiful and the owner helpful (I wish I could remember her name) and she shared some great music with us for our trip!
