Listed as a 2 star hotel, but we thought this was nicer than that. The rooms are small and the showers just keep getting stranger in how to stop water from escaping, but it was clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the bar and food were good.
Good location in a quiet area yet accessible to the entire core of the village. We were about 100 yards from the side of the bay and had easy access for an evening walk. I would say this deserves a higher rating. They even had bikes for the guests to borrow/rent?

Cute little hotel with a nice restaurant inside. Was definitely a back saver after many days in the van.

The room we stayed in had very slim walls, we couldnt sleep due to a woman laughing next door and talking endlessly.
The rooms were in horribly state when we arrived and when we asked about it they didnt hinch to do anything about it.
Hotels are supposed to have thick walls but apparently they bought a building and placed thin walls to make more rooms.
Either they did this for money or so more people could visit but either way, i dont recommend this hotel, its also very expensive.

Das Hotel Höfn liegt am Meer direkt im Ort Höfn. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind etliche Restaurants. Das Zimmer war groß, Parkettboden, schwarze Möbel, 2 Kofferablagen, kein Fernseher, aber Safe, kein Kasten, aber Stange von Decke zum Aufhängen von Kleidung, viele Steckdosen, Nespressomaschine. Dusche mit Duschvorhang. Zimmerantenne, WLAN ohne Code ist gratis.
The rooms are well soundproofed...they are not. The hotel does not have an elevator, and the bathroom looks a lot like an airplane bathroom.
