Fast check in and out at the reception. The rooms were spacious and clean. You can see the sheep just next to the accommodation. Breakfast was good. The hotel is also close to diamond beach so the view outside was great. Do note that the nearest grocery store and petrol is at least an hour and a half away. Our room was just next to the lounge where the shared TV and tea/coffee was. It got really noisy when big groups gathered there so much so that we had to tell them to lower their voices as we were trying to rest. Limited toiletries- bath soap provided.

There is fun museum on the premises, you check in in the same building. Don't be shy - go into the museum, that's where the check in happens.
Location is great, right on the ring road. Parking free on premises. My room was in a separate building about 200m away from the museum-dinner-breakfast building which I didn't mind at all. Entire hotel & room were quiet. My room was spacious, warm, the view from my room was amazing - sunrise over the ocean! <3
Dinner was nice. Food was delicious but don't make my mistake and order tea - you get free in the common area next to your room. Breakfast had varied options: typical for Iceland stays + some nice delicacies like meat pate, some jam & something else I don't remember but it was delicious.

This is the perfect location to stay to visit the Glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón, the Diamond beach and go on an Ice cave tour.

Toplocatie voor een overnachting. Goed ontbijt en zeer ruim opgezet. In de lobby van de dormetories is een zithoek en gratis koffie en thee. Komen zeker nog een keer terug.
