Ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Bad. Das Zimmer war großzügig. Auf dem Flur gab es einen Kühlschrank für Lebensmittel. Es lag in der Stadt war aber ruhig. Alles war sehr sauber. Für die Gäste stand Kaffe und Tee zur Verfügung.

This hotel is good. The room was clean. The room didn't have a lot of outlets so had a challenge plugging in my CPAP machine. The breakfast in the morning was very good, the homemade bread was delicious.

Spent one night here while we were on the island.
Pros: Room was clean and quiet and in a great location. Small but nice breakfast is included
Cons: No elevator - lugging suitcases to the 3rd floor was a surprise - and no one was at the desk when we arrived (our key was just set out for us with a note about when breakfast and checkout were). Bathroom was TINY - shower was so small that an adult barely fit in it. Amenities are sparse - one small towel & pillow per person, some sort of body wash in the shower - that's it. Had to find someone in the morning so we could check out and pay for our room.

Einfalt og snyrtilegt.
Orðið þreytt og lúið að sumu leyti. Sturtklegahurðir lausar, brotið gler í opnanlegum glugga. Hilla á baði laus (í vaskinum). Hitabreyting (hækkun) mjög hægvirk. Tenglar rafmagns svo fáir að annaðhvort sjónvarp eða hraðsuðuketill ótengt!.

Amazing place!! Wonderfully nice people. Book this room if you come to these islands. Owners are super nice, friendly, and accommodating. Super responsive, we needed help with something and they were over immediately to fix it.

Very convenient location. Clean. Historic pictures on the walls of the volcano. Check out the view!!

Thanks so much to this very nice family for letting us spend our vacation at your hotel.

Guesthouse Nähe Hafen, Frühstück kleine Auswahl aber völlig ausreichend. Betten sehr bequem. Wir hatten Blick auf den Eldfell und Helgafell.

The Guesthouse is located central in the city. Its just 5 min by car to the fairy, and the post office is like 50 m across the street, parking is no problem, there are places in front of the house and you can also park in the street infront of the house. There was noone at the reception when we arrived, but we found the key together with some info on the counter and could have called the staff if needed.
The rooms are tidy and have a comfortable size (the biggest room that we had on our iceland tour so far!). There is TV and free wifi, enough towels and comfy beds.
Breakfast was included for us and we found a rich variety of things, including meat, cheese, jam, bread and so on. The freshly made pancakes were superb! In the breakfast room is coffee and tea always available (and sometimes some spare pancakes from the breakfast ;)) l, als well as books. You can find a plan of the island with some restaurant recommendations on the counter in the entrance area.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you :)

Rigtig fint lille hotel med gode store værelser med gode senge.
Udemærket morgenmad.
Vi mødte ikke en eneste fra personalet mens vi var der, men vi havde heller ikke nogle problemer.

Ottima posizione a due passi dal porto, accoglienza cordiale e ampio orario di check-in. Camera carina e sufficientemente ampia con riscaldamento regolabile, bagno con doccia chiusa (box) e phon. La colazione è buona e ben assortita (sia dolce che salata). Park gratuito di fronte alla struttura.
Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Clean, spacious rooms and comfortable mattress. Bedding and pillows were a bit small. There was no staff in the evening to check us in or ask questions. Our keys were just sitting there when we arrived and we took ourselves up to our rooms. The location is great, within walking distance of many places. The breakfast in the morning was really really nice. We would definitely stay there again.

Looks more like a long abandoned school camp than a family run place. I haven't seen dirty windows in any residence for quite some time now. Breakfast though can support you until lunch OK. Large common area features a Samsung tv, Internet supported
