Very poor hospitality. Breakfast was awful. This hotel is full of bus tours and school groups. It is not appropriate for individual travelers. You are better of in Vík. Do NOt have the dinner here. Rooms are minimal. Basic dorm room.

Rooms are very basic. The hotel caters mostly to tour buses. Even though the hotel has a view of the ocean and even though we reserved two "superior" rooms we were offered two rear facing rooms looking out at a wall! Every room has a TV but all but two chanels are scrambled. Overall, a very disapointing stay.

Prima hotel met een inclusief ontbijt dat zeer ruim is.

In de buurt is meer dan genoeg te doen voor paar dagen plezier. Mooie tussenstop zoals wij deden om hele cirkel te rijden tussen Keflavik en Hofn in.

De kamers zijn wel heel heel warm en temperatuur kun je niet aanpassen dat een beetje vreemd is. Veder schone kamers.

De prijs is niet goedkoop maar ook niet veelst te duur.

After finishing dinner, we finally got our drinks. It took forever for bartender to make them. He seemed to be nervous and impolite. At least food was fabulous and rooms were perfectly clean.

2024/03/02極光數3「pm11-1點、極光爆發」、地點正門口後方。小空地。
最佳觀賞點。
西餐廳????提供多樣素食、甜點提供無蛋蛋糕、????超級推薦。

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 2 notti, non possiamo aspettarci degli standard altissimi per via della loro posizione.
Comunque i letti sono comodissimi, le camere molto pulite e molto ben riscaldate.
Il cibo molto buono.
Soprattutto la posizione ottima per la caccia all'aurora boreale.

I was visiting this hotel regularly with groups. It’s very sad to see a huge regression especially on restaurant. And I’m not only thinking about prices on bar, I’m not thinking about food and that last change with buffet. But atmosphere here is terrible, some of new managers seam to be hear a round of punishment, some of receptionist too. Hold on and take a look for a minute Dyrholaey, you were so nice back in time.

We got stuck in a snow bank on the side of the road right in front of this hotel, and one of the workers, Jack, saw us and got a rope and pulled us out. What an Angel he was! He were so grateful for him and how kind he was. We will never forget him. Thank you, Jack. You are blessed to have him as a staff member and we will stay here if we are ever in the area.

Incredible food, breakfast and dinner. Lovely atmosphere. Great gym. Nice reading area in front of the gym. Dinner was a expensive buffet but worth it. The only draw back was the whistling wind during the storm was quite loud in the room. Luckily it died down during the night. The beds were comfortable. Great view from the hill.

Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und ordentlich! Wir hatten endlich mal genug Platz für unsere Koffer. :-)
Das Frühstück hatte genug Auswahl und war wirklich lecker. :-)

Unsere Deckenlampe im Zimmer hatte einen Fehler.. hat die ganze Nacht minimal geleuchtet, was uns aber für eine Nacht nicht gestört hat und daher auch nicht gemeldet haben.

Everything was fine, except the dinner service was horrible. Took 1 hour minimum to serve food after giving order, also when half the restaurant was empty.
