The hotel was amazing. It was clean and cheap with good breakfast. The staff were very nice, which seemed to be the normal around Iceland. We didn't have a fridge in our room, but the hotel staff were able to store some refrigerated meds for us in a fridge only staff had access to. This was the hotel, not the hostel, so there wasn't a public kitchen. Granted I didn't look for one either. Any drinks we wanted cold we stuck outside on our snowy balcony. At night some people gathered in the dining room to hangout and play games. I think there was a small bar there as well.
Its clean, the people are nice, the food wasn't bad. We liked our room. It's not meant to be a luxury hotel and it doesn't claim to be one. That said, it exceeded our expectations. We'd absolutely stay there again.
