Très satisfaisant dans l’ensemble, bon petit déjeuner. Un peu éloigné de la route N1 avec chemin en terre les deux derniers kilomètres

The nearest settlement is Hvolsvöllur, approximately 20 minutes by car. At first it was a bit scary in the middle of nowhere, there is no reception and no one welcomed us. But the room key was displayed in an envelope. The room and breakfast were perfect, and the view was simply stunning. Because it is far from everything, you can watch the northern lights beautifully.

Apartamentos en un enclave fantástico, en una granja de caballos. La casa está bien equipada (sólo echamos de menos el microondas) y es fácilmente accesible. En nuestro caso, la limpieza de los anteriores huéspedes no había sido muy a conciencia, y había restos tanto en la cocina como en el baño y en los suelos. Pero nada demasiado grave. Aún con ese pequeño detalle, muy recomendable.

Depending on which direction you are coming from/going to, you drive on an unpaved road for approximately 10 minutes.
Nice, self-contained cottage.
3 beds in 3 separate rooms. Bathroom with a shower and washing machine.
Kitchen lacked basic supplies, no bakeware for oven use, no scissors or knives. Some of the cups were still wet and not cleaned properly.

Wasn't advised the hot water tank had to be turned on at least an hour before using the shower.

Horses in the property are gorgeous.

Guesthouse immerso nella natura e l'allevamento dei cavalli. Servizio ottimo, così come le stanze e la colazione (la giusta quantità di prodotti con un'alta qualità). Impagabile la pace e il silenzio del luogo oltre che il panorama.

Quite good service in a farm. Can play with horses. Very clean room. The only one provides television. The rumpus upstairs is very nice and great atmosphere.

We stayed here for one night on the way to Vik. The check-in instruction was clear as we arrived after hours. Just be aware that there is nothing around the property, so one should get dinner before arriving here. The closest area for food is in Hvolsvollur (about a 12-min drive away).

The property is beautiful, and you can see horses hanging out on the property as the owner has a ranch. Just be mindful when booking the rooms, as they offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms and rooms only.

Breakfast was the highlight of our stay - plenty of food and very nutritious.

Nice, quite and really clean accommodation. We stayed one night and enjoyed. One thing about the area is a little away from restaurants be prepared :)
