We stayed in cottage one and had a good experience here. The staff were helpful and the check in was simple. We went to the restaurant for dinner and I had the cheese burger and my wife had lasagna. They were both delicious and filling. The cottage was a perfect place to stay for our trip around the country. It was a good sized cabin and the price was fair. I would stay again if I come back to the area. It's not far from town which is small but has what you need.

Eco wird hier großgeschrieben, etwas abseits gelegen, aber stört nicht weiter....tolles Frühstück, für unseren Geschmack alles zu wenig beheizt für diese eisigen Temperaturen....es gibt eine Bücher- und Gewandtauschecke !!

It was a cosy little cottage we stayed in. Wasn't big enough when travelling for weeks with our big suitcases but we made it work! Only downside was having to walk to the communal kitchen in the cold. Overall it was a good stay, but works or those who are out exploring during the day, not for just wanting to relax for a day. Beds were comfortable too which was big a bonus

A lovely hotel! The staff were great, friendly and nice! They will make sure you feel right at home. The food made it all worth it on its own as it was delicious. The rooms were clean and well kept. Always a nice temperature during the winter. Good breakfast buffet too.
Beautiful views and good location for a lot of what Iceland has to offer.
I cannot recommend this place enough!

Fuimos con una camper en invierno y no cuentan ni con duchas ni con electricidad. Solo hay acceso a un único baño mixto y a la cocina común. Comparado con otros campings que abren en invierno en los que estuvimos, deja mucho que desear

So we camped here. Again a last minute need a place to stay and staff were great. We had access to the guesthouse with toilets and large communal kitchen area. You are parked round by the tractors so dont expect an instagram location for photos but it was a lovely night. Oh bear in mind there were no showers in winter.

Best hotel we stayed in during our 10 days trip. The young staff (2 Mexican + 1 Polish women) were extremely kind and professional. The food was exquisite. The rooms were warm and comfortable. The place was quite and surrounded by nature. 100% recommended. We will return!

Belle et grande chambre meublée années 70. La vue est meilleure si celle ci ne donne pas sur le parking. Préférer les chambres au numéro pair. Rideaux occultants ( rare ). Deux lits séparés et sur roulettes. C'est bien pour les femmes de ménage mais moins bien pour quelqu'un qui souhaite s'asseoir sur le lit en s'appuyant le dos, car çà recule ! Pas pratique. L'évacuation de la douche ne se faisait pas bien ( chambre 114 ) Petit déjeuner super. Copieux, varié, salé et sucré. Déco de l'hôtel très soignée et cosy. Bouilloire dans la chambre. Bon accueil.

Lieu très agréable et calme pour une nuitée en campervan. Le staff est accueillant. La cuisine est propre, équipée, et spacieuse. Seul bémol, pas de douche à partir de cette période ( 25/10 ).

Camping agréable avec un espace cuisine au chaud. Le restaurant de l'hôtel était très bon !
En revanche pas de douche en hiver pour les campeurs, d'où la petite étoile en moins comme tous les autres campings qu'on a faits ensuite proposaient des douches.

The Place is fantastic, but the cottages are really small and we found them dirty and full of spiders. The dining room wasn't clean.

Awesome restaurant: local food of excellent quality. An antique tractor adorns the restaurant's main hall.
Bobby Fischer, the world chess champion, stayed at the hotel on a number of occasions: there is his autograph framed on the wall.
You can even book a cottage where he lived.

Nice staff, but the chalet we were in needed maintenance badly. Missing light bulb, and the other light broken and hanging by its wires. Toilet and taps both leaked and shower drain was almost totally plugged. I bet they would have fixed it if I had asked but I wasn't there long enough. Late night and early morning.
