This is a hotel I’ll never forget! Not only is the staff so amazing and international, but the location and amenities were so comfortable! I was an easy 30 minute to 1 hour drive away from so many incredible sites, which was perfect as I was traveling alone. Justin Bieber & his people also stayed at this hotel so obviously it’s amazing lol

Ranga has an excellent location for foss visiting but also the Northern Lights. There is also an observatory in the grounds which was really cool.
Bar and restaurant great.

How this hotel can be described as luxury is beyond me. Very dated and tired and more budget than luxury. Dinner was excellent however but such a shame the hotel isn’t. I would class it as a 3 star, really needs some updating and some atmosphere. Would not return.

Outstanding location beautiful hotel and the scenery is off the charts
The staff's genuine passion for ensuring our comfort and satisfaction made us feel like valued friends, eager to embark on a remarkable journey. Their personal attention and warm smiles created an instant connection, leaving us with a lasting impression of Icelandic hospitality. We could name a thousand good things about this beautiful hotel and their hospitality, but the highlight of it all was when the staff gave us an “aurora wake-up call” and we got to witness the most magnificent phenomenon on earth - Northern Lights right from our windows.
We’ve been organizing trips to Iceland since 2015 and our groups have been staying at this beautiful hotel ever since, which is why we wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Rangá to fellow travelers seeking an immersive and people-centric journey into the heart of Iceland's natural wonders. Thank you, Hotel Rangá, for being a cherished part of our personal adventure and for creating unforgettable moments under the dancing skies of the northern lights.
