Another excellent stay. Such a great welcome, comfortable rooms (staying in the main house) and amazing breakfast. Can’t wait to return next year.

Wow really great hospitality and dinner. It was pricey like anything in Iceland but perfect and worth it.. the apple caramel tart at the end was outstanding

I highly recommend this place, we were received very warmly, after worries on the road. The cottage is in the middle of a valley in a natural setting of legendary calm. The shower may not be the most functional, but the equipment and the beds comfortable !

We had the pleasure of staying at the charming Hestheimar cabins. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel warmly welcomed! The cottage was on beautiful grounds with lots of greenery and horses. Inside, the cottage was spacious, really nice and clean, with charming wood panels that gave it a country feel. A bonus was the bathroom with a towel warmer. Overall, we had a peaceful and enjoyable stay, and we'd definitely recommend!

Wir hatten 3 Übernachtungen über Booking gebucht, alles schien top. 2 Tage vorher kam die Nachricht, dass unsere Buchung storniert worden sei. Es gab ein Problem mit der Kreditkarte als wir auf der Fähre waren und keine Nachrichten empfangen konnten. Nach einem Anruf dort um das zu korrigieren teilte man mir mit man könne leider nichts tun und behauptete, ich hätte selber storniert. Es war sehr schwierig kurzfristig noch eine andere Übernachtung zu finden.
