Durch die beiden Fenster neben dem Kaminfeuer, lassen sich die Nordlichter bei latenter Wärme bestaunen.
Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker und die Bar lässt keine Wünsche offen.

We booked non-refundable room where our entire trip got cancelled because of weather conditions
We got in touch with hotel to refund as this is not really our fault and the answer was that the room is non-refundable. I agree and i understand the non-refundable room, however our another hotel cancelled the booking and did a refund with no issue. Blue lagoon did not make any problem as we were supposed to be there like 8 hours and they refunded the money with no question. Same for Blue car rental, they also did not even ask a word and they said we know the weather situation but this hotel got advantage of the natural thing, weather conditions and got our money for nothing.
Such a shameful hotel taking people’s money in that way and ignoring them, shame on you, you should be ashamed by your act.
Dont stay at this hotel, this is a robbery
I've traveled to Iceland 10 times over the last 15 years, and I'm consistently impressed by the hospitality and outstanding food you find at many family-owned hotels; Hotel Skalholt is no exception! I stayed one night while passing through and found the accommodations clean, the hospitality absolutely outstanding, and the food top notch!
The restaurant offered a set menu for dinner and the chef (and co-owner) did an absolutely outstanding job!
Único ponto de melhoria é tirar a placa da porta que pede para ligar em um telefone para fazer check in, isso me deixou confuso, depois entrei e não achava a recepção
