We stayed at the hotel in October, the room was big and clean and the stuff was very friendly. But the heat didn’t seem to work and the stuff gave us radiator as a solution instead of fixing the problem. Also the water in the shower weren’t hot.

Most amazing time ever. The hotel owners were so accommodating and welcoming! We eloped and they allowed us to use the lobby so we could be indoors for our vows. Anna and Olafur were so friendly and worked with us on every detail. The food was also amazing. Breakfast had a nice variety and dinner was so tasty! We got what we paid for!

What a fabulous place! The owners were so friendly, the rooms were spacious and the whole decor of the place is just ,wow!! . The common areas were so cool and the dinner was out of this world. The breakfast buffet was very good. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had in our 13 days in Iceland. Every detail of this place was magical, down to the dishes and little serving pieces that were used for the butter. Wonderful wonderful place!!!

Don't let the gravel road put you off-- this hotel is a unique hidden gem that will reward you with making the trek. The owners and staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to cater to us. Beautiful views in all directions from the hotel, great food and local beer at the restaurant, and thermal baths made the experience great. On the pricey side, but that is to be expected with a boutique hotel in high season. We will definitely stay here again.
