Without doubt, the very best hotel I’ve personally ever stayed at.
Healthy well cooked, presented breakfast with every available option. Chef at location is incredible and food is totally amazing.
Owners, Olaf and Anna are the most welcoming and never out of reach if something is required.
Staff are happy, polite and just lovely to be around.
Tina and Skrumba, the two Icelandic sheepdogs are just the best and they live to spend time with you and show you around .. I would 100% recommend this beautiful hotel to everyone.

We loved every minute of our stay here! This is a small and cozy boutique property with exceptional views all around, and a small, but mighty, staff, including the owners (and their friendly 2 Icelandic sheep dogs). Everyone was so kind, the grounds and rooms so clean (and large in size), and the pools and hot tubs are very relaxing. Conveniently, you could choose to eat dinner there in which the chef has a prix fixe three course meal that is delicious. If you choose not to eat dinner onsite, you are only a 15 minute drive into Selfoss in which there are many options. The property is also in close driving distance to many nearby attractions on the golden circle route and many waterfalls. Otherwise, you could walk around the property, taking in all the views, and enjoying the pools. Overall, we are so happy we chose to spend 3 nights here and wish to return someday. This was certainly a unique experience that we will never forget.
