Dieses Hotel war mein Highlight auf der Reise. Nachdem eine AirBnB Buchung ziemlich schrecklich war und wir dort direkt rückwärts wieder raus sind, haben wir hier kurzfristig das letzte Zimmer bekommen. Rezeption ist 24/7 besetzt, wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und umsorgt, da das Zimmer eigentlich nicht verfügbar sein sollte. Kurze Reinigung und eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit aus dem Food Court später waren wir einfach nur noch glücklich hier zu sein. Saubere Zimmer, groß genug für 2 Personen plus Gepäck. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Tolles Konzept mit dem Store und Food Court unten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße, Lautstärke völlig okay, Aussicht toll. Zu Fuß kann man hier gut ein paar Runden drehen und auch zum Frost & Fire Hotel hochlaufen, bei dem es einen Wasserfall und einige heiße Quellen gibt. Danke für die Rettung ❤

Very comfortable hotel in a great little town. The staff was so warm and helpful including Dace, Kasia, Bernhardt and Savana. They were among the friendliest staffers we encountered in Iceland!
Some examples of their help: when I accidentally booked 2 non refundable rooms, I was able to extend a single room for another day instead; letting us know if/when the northern lights would come out; arranging late checkout without any problems.
The hotel is very comfortable. Rooms are on the smaller side, they have all the conveniences including kettle, pod coffeemaker, minibar with free bottled water. There is street noise so ask for a room facing back if possible. The room also was on the warmer side so our window was open all the time.
The hotel lobby consists of a food hall with lots of choices and a very stocked store with high end clothing, gifts and food. It was fun to shop there.
The town feels like a real Icelandic working town. I enjoyed the local 50m geothermal swimming pool. There’s a big Bonus supermarket next to the hotel as week as a nice bakery and pharmacy.

Sorry for our late response! We are a new hotel with a new concept and as a part of our sustainability policy, daily housekeeping is only done upon request. We have updated our information process for all bookings staying more than one night.
