The only thing that was good at this campsite was the location. It's a mess, dirty and old bathrooms. The "kitchen" is dirty and open, so in wintertime not a recommendation. And to make things worse, the price was the highest of all the campsites we have seen during our trip. We did not feel like driving any further in the dark, otherwise we would not have stayed here.

Not really good campsite, just shower for men and one for women, which isn't enough for 100? people, no place like a bathroom for shaving, no drying facility, shelter with kitchen is really dirty and gas stove provided does not work. - extremely expensive but NO good service at all. This makes me really angry. 1400 ISK per person isn't cheap eather. Recommend campsite in Sellfoss. Seams to be better according to other travelers.

This campsite has 1 toilet and 1 shower (each gender) for the whole campsite. As you can see from the pictures, is not clean at all. The toilets were evidently not have been cleaned for days. Same thing for the "common area/kitchen". Bins were overflowing with rubbish, and the whole area was dirty. It's also open and not warmed up which it may be a nice idea for the summer but in winter it's simply unpractical. Staying in the common area in winter is simply impossible. So nice to see that owner/manager thought to install a funny picture over the urinal but not to install a couple of shelves or hanger or a bench where to place your stuff during shower. Not even a chair.
Not a pleasant stay at all. Go elsewhere
