Die National Gallery ist ziemlich klein und hat wechselnde Ausstellungen. Dafür ist der Eintrittspreis hoch aber man kann damit auch das House of Collections besuchen.

Lovely place, really amazing immersive atmosphere. Also I just feel this place went into so much more detail than galleries do, which was just so nice. Very highly recommend! Staff are friendly and helpful and provide more insight to the work.
Only thing I’d say is be warned there is no designated parking for the gallery so be prepared to pay

Lovely exhibits in this iconic building with a history. Just please be quiet when walking through. When I was in there admiring Kjarvals work, a group of very loud US people entered, apparently not knowing what they were doing there except being loud. I sushed them and that thankfully made them stop being loud. They were also gone very soon, to my luck I must say. Kjarvals work is really sacred in Icelandic culture and when entering an exhibit some respect is expected.

The museum had 3 different exhibits and I loved them all. Walking into Ruris glass work was really impressive also.

Also the art collection given to the museum with a lot of paintings of the work at sea, really was lovely to see.

Another beautiful part of the three Reykjavik art collections you can access with the one pass! a beautiful full room piece and a wonderful collection of paintings, I enjoy these art museums alot and this one is definitely on my list of favorites.

Interessante galleria d'arte contemporanea. C'è anche un piccolo shop. Con il biglietto fatto c'è la possibilità di entrare anche in due altre location e non è necessario fare tutto nello stesso giorno.
